All my employees received one full months wage for their Christmas bonus. It's been a couple years since we have been able to be so generous.
I guess I should mention to them that Trump is partially responsible for the bonus as a couple of them were big Hillary supporters.
So I told my employee's today that they all had to send Trump a card thanking him for their Christmas bonus this year and for next years tax cut on S-Corps. The liberal's in the office looked like I had just shot their dog and defiled their sister.
Some days it's good to be the king. :lol8:

Perhaps even more shocking is the fact that there are liberals willing to work for you.

Hopefully it won't be too much longer here and the gov. in Iran will hit the skids. If N.K. follows hot on it's heels then maybe Trump will end up getting a nice, easy plate of foreign policy served up.
Would'nt that be something? The two gnarliest regimes in the world caving in on themselves.
IDK...I'm pretty encouraged. I think we're in pretty good shape 25 years after the collapse of the old world order when all these nations were left to fend for themselves...only two of them stayed completely off the rails and both are in poor shape. The world may indeed be a better place in the years to come.

Trump tells the Palestinians to show up for peace talks or the US is cutting off their millions in aid.
It's nice to again finally have a President with big brass balls. Regan is the last president we had with a set.

2.1 million jobs added in 2017. Unemployment rate drops to 4.7%. Average hourly wage rose 2.5%. Unemployment rate for African Americans hits an all time record low of 6.8%. The DJIA sets a record high 71 times. That's a pretty good year anyway you want to slice it.
Trump promised to be the greatest jobs president ever and so far he is on track.
And all the while Democrats run around screaming the sky is falling.

Nah, he's not on track, he's still lagging behind Barry. Jobs added per month have gone down. Percent increase in the stock market hasn't exceeded Barry.
Remember when BHO took over from Bush and what the stock market and jobs outlook was like? Was in the dumpster.
Trump took over a healthy economy from a president who had more influence over it. He's still riding that wave that he didn't create. But now all those fake job reports numbers are real (ha ha) and he has a bigger button on his desk. The lemmings love this guy.
As soon as the campaign team had stepped into the White House, Walsh saw, it had gone from managing Trump to the expectation of being managed by him. Yet the president, while proposing the most radical departure from governing and policy norms in several generations, had few specific ideas about how to turn his themes and vitriol into policy. And making suggestions to him was deeply complicated. Here, arguably, was the central issue of the Trump presidency, informing every aspect of Trumpian policy and leadership: He didn’t process information in any conventional sense. He didn’t read. He didn’t really even skim. Some believed that for all practical purposes he was no more than semi-*literate. He trusted his own expertise *— no matter how paltry or irrelevant — more than anyone else’s. He was often confident, but he was just as often paralyzed, less a savant than a figure of sputtering and dangerous insecurities, whose instinctive response was to lash out and behave as if his gut, however confused, was in fact in some clear and forceful way telling him what to do. It was, said Walsh, “like trying to figure out what a child wants.”

Typical liberal.... "the sky is falling, the sky is falling".
I will agree that Obama inherited a dumpster fire, but standing on the balcony pissing on it was not a great solution. Obama was the first president to never hit 3% growth. Obama never understood what it took to get business booming.
The basic question voters ask themselves when going to the polls is "am I better off today then 4 years ago". I know very few people that can't answer yes if that question were asked today.

Barry did a hell of a lot more than piss on the fire. And, business was booming, despite your short term memory.
What remains to be seen, is, the downstream effect of Trump's undoing of all that "stuff".
We'll see in a few years, but, you're right...basic question...better off now? Hard to argue with happiness.
"Biden also suggested that Trump is unable to understand what he's dealing with — "this is not a business deal," he said, referring to Trump's past in real estate. "This is not who builds the next skyscraper." He wouldn't comment on whether he thinks Trump is fit for office, but did say Trump's approach to the presidency "erodes those invisible elements of citizenship that sort of are the buoyancy for what makes this nation so special. It's less his policies than the way he conducts [himself], how unpresidential he is.""

All good news, but it seems that the average hourly wage should have gone up more than 2.5% though. This seems low considering the economic boom.

Brian... Let's come at this from a different direction. Do you honestly believe Obama will go down in history as a good president?
And we're not comparing him to Trump as it's impossible to rate a president after the first year of a 4 or 8 year run.
Personally I believe history will eventually place Obama somewhere below the 50% line. Somewhere down in the Jimmy Carter and Bush 2 realm. Obama has no major accomplishments that will last. He did change the direction of healthcare, but his signature accomplishment (Affordable Care Act) has pretty much been torpedoed. He left the middle East a shit storm (Bush 2 helped). Race relations went backwards 20 years under Obama. I do give him credit for doing a descent job of pulling us out of the Bush 2 economic dumpster fire. He certainly didn't make it worse, but his numerous regulations didn't help.
Anyhoo... enquiring minds want to know.

If this had happened when the last guy was there, then I'd probably be a fan. But it didn't, and what is even more important is that it's very likely to get even better. Personally, I feel more optimistic now that I have since the end of '08.

Since the US population is in the region of 320 million (https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=US+population&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b&gfe_rd=cr&dcr=0&ei=ghNQWt-rB_Pv8Afk3bHoCQ) then I'd suggest that natural deaths, births, retirements, occasional & regional variations, a few hurricanes & tornadoes and natural expansion of population and a lot of kids getting to employable age has much to do about that increase, rather than any one particular President having a direct influence during his term.
Unless 18 years ago he impregnated every eligible person in his home state.

You and I seem to be in the same boat. I made more money last year then I made in the 4 previous years combined. If work and the economy continued at it's current pace I'll be set to retire comfortably at the end on Trumps first term. I have people literally standing at my door step offering me all the work we can handle. These are huge industrial projects costing ten's of millions that will each employ hundreds when brought on-line.
My employee's all received a nice raise last year (first time in 4 years) and they also received a year end bonus equal to one month's wage, which was at least twice the size of any bonus received the previous 4 years. My employees have also had unlimited access to any overtime they wanted, again that's the first time in 8 years (and my guys are always begging for overtime when I have none).
And yet I have one Brian type employee that prays at the temple of Obama and insists Trump is the devil in reincarnated,
So I ask people like Brian, "how do you justify your position", I honestly want to know?

Yeah, I think Obama will go down in history as a "good" president. Not even counting how low the bar is right now (ha ha). On an aside, did you see Barry's summer reading and music list? Wow. Nice retirement. I can't believe he likes band the National...
What was interesting and a bit eye opening to me (as one who "drank the koolaid), was the couple of PBS Frontline shows on the Obama presidency. Plenty to be critical of. And, some things I hadn't considered. So, fake news liberal media PBS aside, seemed to be a fair reporting on "things".

Here’s your crack, on-the-job commander in chief and hisfocus:
Michael Wolff is atotal loser who made up stories in order to sell this really boring anduntruthful book. He used Sloppy Steve Bannon, who cried when he got fired andbegged for his job. Now Sloppy Steve has been dumped like a dog by almosteveryone. Too bad!
I’m sure tweets like the above continue to help him beconsidered in high regard not only in the US, but, around the world. Ugh.
Let’s take your Obama chart point by point:
Labor participation rate? Makes sense that it’s low (baby boomer bubble aging out of the workforce),but, what does that mean?
https://qz.com/286213/the-chart-obama-haters-love-most-and-the-truth-behind-it/ (https://qz.com/286213/the-chart-obama-haters-love-most-and-the-truth-behind-it/)
Apples to apples, what does Trump’s first term look like forlabor participation rate? It slid from62.9 to 62.7. So, getting worse? Trump’s fault? I wouldn’t think so. Just like it wasn’t Obama’s fault either.
95 million out of thelabor force? I think it’s called “retirement”.
Here’s the breakdown of that 95 million:
http://money.cnn.com/2017/02/03/news/economy/trump-95-million-people-not-in-the-labor-force/index.html (http://money.cnn.com/2017/02/03/news/economy/trump-95-million-people-not-in-the-labor-force/index.html)
Again, if you want to hang your hat on that number, then, end of December 2016, 95.006 million out of the workforce. December 2017: 95.512. Blame Trump for more people out of the work force? Well, we could, but, we know he just didn’thave that much influence on it. Exceptmaybe those 600+ folks at Carrier who’s jobs got outsourced to Mexico. You know, in the “Art of the Deal”.
Worst recovery sincethe 1940’s? Yeah, right. Seems like I hear folks crowing about doingsoooo poorly that they’ll retire at the end of Trump’s term. Maybe the longest recovery. And, I think, slow and steady wins therace. Also, depends on what you measure. I hear some folks are turning away work….how’sthat the worst recovery?
Lowest home ownershipin 50 years? Geez, when did thebubble pop? End of 2016 was 63.9%. Last measured at 63.9%? So, no big uptick during Trump’s first year. Looking at the trends…hit a high of 69.2% in2004. I think that’s the all time high. Slid from the bubble pop at 67%-ish to present. What’s also slid? Older folks. The 65 years and older crowd. Less of them as a percentage live in an owner occupied home. Hmmm.
Interesting spin on why the lower rate is a good thing:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/why-the-decline-of-the-homeownership-rate-is-good-news/2016/08/03/c6b8bf7c-58d1-11e6-9767-f6c947fd0cb8_story.html?utm_term=.535702e45dd2 (https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/why-the-decline-of-the-homeownership-rate-is-good-news/2016/08/03/c6b8bf7c-58d1-11e6-9767-f6c947fd0cb8_story.html?utm_term=.535702e45dd2)
One trend that seems great is home equity is on therise. Those of us in Sandy Utah that gothit with a big (over 25% for me) increase to our property taxes feel this “growth”. Ha ha. Nice that so many folks aren’t so under water. I give some credit to Barry’s admin for someof the regulations in place following the bubble burst. As some of those protections are scrapped, will the bubble return? Too soon totell. Glad I bought a house a few yearsback (thanks Obama!).
Food stamps…blameTrump for the huge spike in September 2017? Hardly. SNAP benefits have beenon the decline since 2013. Greattrend. Be interesting to see if thecurrent administration cuts SNAP benefits. Trump is a huge opponent of SNAP.
Poverty Rate. Has fallen from 2014. From the census folks, here’s the deets:
§ The official poverty rate in 2016 was 12.7percent, down 0.8 percentage points from 13.5 percent in 2015. This isthe second consecutive annual decline in poverty. Since 2014, the poverty ratehas fallen 2.1 percentage points from 14.8 percent to 12.7 percent.
§ In 2016 there were 40.6 million people inpoverty, 2.5 million fewer than in 2015 and 6.0 million fewer than in 2014.
§ The poverty rate in 2016 (12.7 percent) wasnot significantly higher than the poverty rate in 2007 (12.5 percent), the yearbefore the most recent recession.
§ No demographic group included in Table 3experienced an increase in its poverty rate between 2015 and 2016.
§ For most demographic groups, the number ofpeople in poverty decreased from 2015. Adults aged 65 and older were the onlypopulation group shown in Table 3 to experience an increase in the number ofpeople in poverty.
§ Between 2015 and 2016,the poverty rate for children under age 18 declined from 19.7 to 18.0 percent. The poverty rate for adults aged 18-64 declined from 12.4 to 11.6 percent. Thepoverty rate for adults aged 65 and older was 9.3 percent in 2016, notstatistically different from the rate in 2015.
So, what will the poverty rate do under Trump? I bet it pops up. And, because of his admin and not in spite ofit. Removing the ACA mandate. Killing grants for signing people up forinsurance. We’ll see when the numberscome in, but, my bet in 2017 and forward, the poverty rate in the US willincrease.
Has it really been a year? Good grief...time flies when you're having fun...

This is one area where I will agree with Trump. I have always been against supporting and arming Pakistan (or at least since forming an opinion on the matter a few decades ago).
When the Taliban harbored Bin Laden after the 9/11 attacks, only two countries still recognized that Taliban as the rightful rulers of Afghanistan. Those two countries were Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Even so, it was Bush who vastly increased aid to Pakistan after 9/11. The aid dropped way down after Obama was elected and stayed lower until 2009 when it was increased again (peaking in 2011), but then decreased greatly in 2014 and 2016. Pakistan has still never denounced the Taliban. They still maintain a relationship with the Taliban while accepting US aid.

Try again, come back when you actually have something that affects me. In the mean time I'll be trying to figure out how to get all the work walking through my front door done. While also watching my IRA and stock portfolio skyrocket.
Let's talk about the $6 trillion dollars in wealth created under Trump, now that's something that actually affects me. Do you have any clue how many hookers and how much blow $6 trillion dollars buys?

Happy MLK day!
Trump later decried the removal of “beautiful” Confederate memorials (https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2017/08/17/trump-mourns-loss-of-beautiful-statues-and-monuments-in-wake-of-charlottesville-rally-over-robert-e-lee-statue/?utm_term=.962de42a6e82) to the Civil War.
“They're trying to take away our history,” Trump said at a rally in Phoenix (https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2017/08/23/as-trump-ranted-and-rambled-in-phoenix-his-crowd-slowly-thinned/?utm_term=.4815ee78a534) in August.
The president's criticism of kneeling NFL players (https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/early-lead/wp/2018/01/12/every-time-donald-trump-has-fought-with-athletes/?utm_term=.0ef70eefeada) also struck many critics as thinly veiled racism. Most of the players who took a knee rather than standing during the playing of the national anthem this season were black. The gesture was meant as a protest against inequality and police brutality.
Trump said it was an affront to patriotism and that players had many other ways to protest.
NFL owners should respond to the players by saying, “Get that son of a b‑‑‑‑ off the field right now. Out. He's fired. He's fired!” Trump said in September (https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2017/09/23/i-love-alabama-its-special-at-rally-for-sen-luther-strange-trump-vents-frustrations-in-rambling-speech/?utm_term=.f4e175950720).

It says it will create 20,000 new jobs and open a new campus.

I actually watched that meeting live and my first thought was they should put all the immigration players in a room, lock the door and broadcast the meeting live. No one comes out until we have a long term fix for this problem. The reason for broadcasting live is no one gets to be an ass without everyone knowing who the ass is, who is grandstanding, who has the public's true interest at heart and who is just playing politics.

Absolutely.
What was interesting in the above referenced meeting was that Trump several times referenced to getting DACA done now and working on immigration later. And then getting reeled back in.
Single item bills. That would kill some of the "bridge to no where" riders. Let that fluff pass or fail on its own merits, not to woo a certain congressional person.

Case in point. This is BS:
https://www.yahoo.com/news/doctor-aided-hunt-bin-laden-languishes-forgotten-060736097.html
I do hope that Trump really does something about this and the aid to Pakistan.

From the US bureau of labor stats:
Total nonfarm payroll employment rose by 148,000 in December. Job gains occurred in health
care, construction, and manufacturing. In 2017, payroll employment growth totaled 2.1
million, compared with a gain of 2.2 million in 2016. (See table B-1.)
In December, manufacturing employment rose by 25,000, largely reflecting a gain in
durable goods industries (+21,000). Manufacturing added 196,000 jobs in 2017, following
little net change in 2016 (-16,000).
Some additional data:
https://www.bls.gov/iag/tgs/iag31-33.htm#workforce
With unemployment so low (basically unchanged between 2016 and 2017), its hard to add any types of jobs.
I don't think Barry ever said the US is economy is "rotten"...I think instead he's taking credit for it being strong and contributing to the numbers under Trump.
Trade deficit...hmm...

And you just know every DACA kid in the country right now is screaming "take Trumps deal", as it is much better then anything ever offered by any president. It includes double the Obama numbers and offers citizenship, how can any DACA kid hate that?

Here's a serious question. If solar panels are going to have a tariff of 30%, why not foreign oil as well?
Simple answer.... slapping a 30% tariff on imported oil doesn't benefit the US. We can place a tariff on any imported item we wish, it's just a matter of does it actually benefit the US.
Fun story... I was working/racing for Yamaha when Harley Davidson was going bankrupt. The US posted a 30% tariff on all imported motorcycles over 700cc, this had two big effects I noticed. It allowed HD engineering time to catch up with the rest of the world. It also created the Bullitt Bike craze as the Japanese altered their production to create mass produced Cafe Racers, which became more popularly known as Bullitt Bikes. If you lived through the beginning of Bullitt Bikes you will remember they were all in the 500cc to 650cc range, that was to beat the tariff. The tariff was descended a couple years later when HD was no longer facing bankruptcy.

^^^You know, it's really incredible that there's so much talk about "The End of Trump..." It's less of an objective analysis on the President's path to failure as it is just desperate wishful thinking. Such blatantly illogical rhetoric calling for the downfall of the POTUS would be expected from rival dictators or disgruntled developing nations...but not from within. It's really remarkable.
Several of my co-workers are staunch Democrats and can't stand even the sight of Trump. Ever since his election they've been talking like the headlines in this article. I find it extremely disturbing that a large part of our government and nation would rather see Trump fail than see our country succeed.

^^^ I know the analogy has been used so frequently that it's tired now, but I'll repeat it anyways: Think of POTUS as you would the pilot of the airplane you're flying in. You better hope that pilot does the absolute best that he can to ensure you arrive at your destination safely. The last thing you'd want is to wish ill will on the pilot who's flying the plane you're sitting in.

Until you find out that your pilot really doesn't know how to fly...and his co-pilot will take the plane in a direction you don't want to go...
Might explain some of the angst.
Thank goodness there's the autopilot...(ha ha).

characterized by or holding idiosyncratic beliefs or impressions that are contradicted by reality or rational argument, typically as a symptom of mental disorder.

or in this case, you booked a flight to detroit/philly and pilot decided to take you to Hawaii for free, put you up in the Trump hotel and pay for your time, all because capitalism works for all.

That's a double edged sword, the reason the trade deficit rose is the average American has increased their income and wealth. Or to put it another way... poor people can't afford to buy shit.
Come on Brian... I used to think you were a pretty bright guy, but some of your arguments lately are pretty lame.

Didn't Trump say he would reduce the trade deficit? Especially with "Jina"?
And, after year, it just hit a 9 year high?
So now that people have more money and can afford to buy 'Merican...they're still not?
How does that make sense?

A Trump administration will change our failed trade policies, and I mean quickly.
Thank you. Here are seven steps I would pursue right away to bring back our jobs. Number one, I am going to withdraw the United States from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, which has not yet been ratified.
I am going to appoint the toughest and smartest, and I know them all, trade negotiators to fight on behalf of American workers.
I am going to direct the secretary of commerce to identify every violation of trade agreements a foreign country is currently using to harm you, the American worker.
I will then direct all appropriate agencies to use every tool under American and international law to end these abuses. And abuse is the right word.
Number four. I’m going to tell our NAFTA partners that I intend to immediately renegotiate the terms of that agreement to get a better deal by a lot. Not just a little, by a lot for our workers.
And if they don’t agree to a renegotiation, which they might not because they are so used to having their own way — not with Trump they won’t have their own way.
Then, I will submit under Article 2205 of the NAFTA Agreement that America intends to withdraw from the deal.
Number five. I’m going to instruct my treasury secretary to label China a currency manipulator, which should have been done years ago.
Any country that devalues their currency in order to take unfair advantage of the United States, which is many countries, will be met with sharply. And that includes tariffs and taxes.
Number six, I’m going to instruct the U.S. trade representative to bring trade cases against China, both in this country and at the WTO.
China’s unfair subsidy behavior is prohibited by the terms of its entrance to the WTO and I intend to enforce those rules and regulations. And basically, I intend to enforce the agreements from all countries, including China.
Seven, if China does not stop its illegal activities, including its theft of American trade secrets, I will use every lawful — this is very easy. This is so easy. I love saying this. I will use every lawful presidential power to remedy trade disputes, including the application of tariffs consistent with Section 201 and 301 of the Trade Act of 1974, and Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962.
And when they say trade expansion, they’re talking about other countries, they’re not talking about us because there is no expansion. They get the expansion, we get the joblessness. That’s the way it works. It’s not going to happen anymore.

Of course I consume and share fake news. Studies have proven that we all need laughter and friendship during the day to be happy.
What does quoting something from the Huffington post mean to anyone anyways. They provide fake news, so posting something about a company promoting fake news about news that fake news is being used to propogate more fake news about some other fake news. I think I confused myself also
It's all good.
I just don't understand the all the anti Trump bullcrap while Hillary can get away with obvious crimes with no consequences. It just seems to me that the whole thing is just a bait and switch to keep the FBI and pressure off of her and give her time to bury people and information.

Hosting classified and top secret government information on a personal unsecured server. To the best of my knowledge the fact that she did this (and than tried to cover it up) is no longer in dispute by anyone involved. Nor is the fact that this is illegal in dispute. Others have been sent to prison for the same thing and less.

Ok...from what we know, she did use a personal server and had classified information on it. None of the information was mishandled and certainly not intentionally. Not enough of a crime to prosecute. Bad judgment? Yep.

Powell and Rice did not have classified material on unsecured personal servers. And even if they did two wrongs do not make a right.
Kristain Saucier was sent to prison for less, and you are correct Hillary was not in the military, she was Sec of State, which was a much higher and more trusted position.
So your defense is it's OK to break the law if others are doing it and it's OK to break the law because you hold a high postion in the US government... got it...

Its the reason Trump is president. I was outraged and still am, I did vote though unlike many Bernie supports.
There is a simple solution to all of this, winner take all should be mandated in all states. While we're at it, bag the Electoral College and make the Presidential Race a popular vote contest.

Please read the following article: https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/electoral-college_us_582b66bee4b0aa8910bd3ca5
So, You Say You Want To Get Rid Of The Electoral College, Eh?
Hmm. Careful what you wish for, you guys.
Jason Linkins
In a testament to humanity’s willingness to take on the most futile tasks imaginable without regard to sanity, it was announced Tuesday that outgoing Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) has put forward legislation that would scrap the Electoral College in favor of electing the president of the United States by popular vote. I have this funny feeling that Boxer is so motivated by the fact that the Democratic presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton, won the popular vote, but lost the election.
Needless to say, fans of the Electoral College (and they’re mostly fair-weather fans) should not worry unduly. The Los Angeles Times’ Sarah D. Wire reports (http://www.latimes.com/politics/essential/la-pol-ca-essential-politics-updates-boxer-files-longshot-bill-to-scrap-the-1479234745-htmlstory.html) the obvious fact that Boxer’s measure “is unlikely to gain traction with Republicans holding control of both chambers of Congress in a lame duck session.” (Also: 38 of the 50 states would have to ratify this.)
One thing that the Electoral College has going for it, in terms of its own self-perpetuation, is that the occasion to discuss it only arises every four years. If you start talking about scrapping the system before the election, you’ll get shut down because no one likes “changing horses in midstream,” as they say. And if you start talking about it after the election, then you’re probably just plucking sour grapes from the vine.

No not at all. I've never understood it. In general elections popular vote should be the deciding factor. Most argue that the country shouldn't be dominated by Blue States yet I don't see why someone's vote from Iowa is essentially weighted more than someone from NY or California. Votes should be equal regardless of state.

With a popular vote, New York and California would decide all elections, flyover states would have no reason to vote.

HRC was no good choice either. Ohhh...Donna. Yeah, the system was rigged for sure.
I for sure didn't think Bernie was electable, but, I think more of the haters would have stayed home. As it was, Bernie fans stayed home. And, the hate machine energized folks to get out against "Crooked Hillary" and they showed up in droves.
Between Comey's bad timing, Russian influence (and Barry's reluctance to drop dime and influence the election...because he's an honorable guy...), and losing the rust belt (no repeat of Bill's assault weapons ban), she lost. Not by much, but, she lost. Unfair and square (ha ha).
But, she was a better choice for the country than Trump. By far. Putin owns him (and hated HRC). If that doesn't give you any pause for concern....well...here we are.
What the Democrats (and Republicans for that matter) have to do is get some traction with the common man (person) in the US. Understand why. And then appeal. I have no confidence that they'll do it. If the economy continues on its strong course, they'll need to be a fairly decent meltdown between now and 3 years. Which, every week...tick tick tick...only a matter of time maybe.

And because Brian seems to be a little lax on world history here are six other elections Barry meddle in....
Kenya
Investigative reporter Jerome Corsi of WorldNetDaily broke this story when he visited Kenya and was able to confirm that Obama, as a U.S. Senator, illegally used a taxpayer-financed trip to campaign for far-left presidential candidate Raila Odinga in Kenya’s 2006 elections.
Israel
During Israel’s 2015 elections, the Obama administration — led by Secretary of State John Kerry — illegally intervened when they attempted to defeat the reelection of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu by covertly funneling State Department grants to opposition groups
Macedonia
The U.S. government has quietly spent millions of taxpayer dollars to destabilize the democratically elected, center-right government in Macedonia.
Libya
In 2011, Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, not only interfered politically in Libya but militarily as well, by orchestrating a series of policies designed to remove Muammar Gaddafi from power.
Honduras
Shortly after Obama was elected, leftist Honduran president Manual Zelaya attempted to illegally amend the Honduran Constitution so as to allow himself to serve as President longer than one term. Incredibly, Zelaya and a mob broke into a military installation where blank ballots were stored and tried to hold a constitutional referendum without the support of the election authorities. As a result, on orders from the Honduran Supreme Court, he was forcefully removed from office as Honduran law calls for. Obama attacked Zelaya’s removal, falsely calling it a “coup d’état”
Egypt
Like Libya, the Obama administration encouraged opposition to President Hosni Mubarak and intervened in elections to ensure that a radical Muslim Brotherhood leader, Mohammed Morsi, was elected president. Obama’s State Department even gave political training to MB leaders.
And more comedy gold...............
Let's not forget Brexit
Obama interfered in Brexit which was another train wreck, at least for his cause. The European Union says President Obama accidentally helped the Brexit cause when Obama's calls for the United Kingdom to stay in the EU caused people to vote to leave. Now that's a real world leader right there... ROFLMAO...

Spying on journalists: Establishment media came about as close to falling out of love with Barack Obama as ever when his administration was caught spying on journalists (http://theweek.com/articles/464430/why-did-obama-administration-spy-associated-press).
Why, if the reporter subjected to the most egregious surveillance, James Rosen (https://www.yahoo.com/news/blogs/ticket/obama-admin-spied-fox-news-reporter-james-rosen-134204299.html?ref=gs), didn’t work for Fox News, the mainstream media might have started treating Obama like a (shudder) Republican. Rosen was treated so badly that even Attorney General Eric Holder eventually admitted (http://www.breitbart.com/blog/2013/05/28/report-holder-felt-remorse-over-fnc-james-rosen-subpoena/) feeling a bit of “remorse” about it. Apparently he felt so much anguish that he suffered temporary amnesia (http://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2013/05/perjury-may-not-be-such-a-tough-rap-to-prove-in-the-eric-holders-case.php) and forgot to tell Congress that he signed off on the request to wiretap Rosen while he was testifying under oath.

The infamous pallet of cash that wasn’t a ransom (http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2016/09/07/confirmed-obamas-entire-1-7-billion-tribute-iran-paid-cash/) has become symbolic of Obama’s mendacity and penchant for breaking the rules, when he thinks following them is too much trouble.

Shane claims that it is because only Republicans get convicted and democrats are always above the law, but for that to happen, they would have to have complete control of the courts, which will never happen.
I also agree with you earlier when you alluded that partisanship shouldn't have a place in FBI investigations, etc.
I have said it before and will say it again. Partisanship is ruining much of what makes this country great.

Anyway, for anyone who thinks the US is corrupt now (and it often is), the last 40 years have been less corrupt than the US was in the past.
Check out some of the human experiments the US was involved with in the past:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unethical_human_experimentation_in_the_United_Stat es
The CIA was extremely corrupt in the 1950's especially. From the above (most of the below has been proven since. Not all of it was done by the Government, but some was). This is some scary ****.
1950s
In 1950, in order to conduct a simulation of a biological warfare attack, the U.S. Navy sprayed large quantities of the bacteria Serratia marcescens (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serratia_marcescens) – considered harmless at this time – over the city of San Francisco during a project called Operation Sea-Spray (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Sea-Spray). Numerous citizens contracted pneumonia-like illnesses, and at least one person died as a result.[36] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unethical_human_experimentation_in_the_United_Stat es#cite_note-undue-risk-233-234-36)[37] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unethical_human_experimentation_in_the_United_Stat es#cite_note-rogue-state-147-149-37)[38] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unethical_human_experimentation_in_the_United_Stat es#cite_note-38)[39] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unethical_human_experimentation_in_the_United_Stat es#cite_note-39)[40] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unethical_human_experimentation_in_the_United_Stat es#cite_note-40)[41] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unethical_human_experimentation_in_the_United_Stat es#cite_note-Medscape-41) The family of the man who died sued the government for gross negligence, but a federal judge ruled in favor of the government in 1981.[42] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unethical_human_experimentation_in_the_United_Stat es#cite_note-42) Serratia tests were continued until at least 1969.[43] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unethical_human_experimentation_in_the_United_Stat es#cite_note-43)
Also in 1950, Dr. Joseph Stokes of the University of Pennsylvania (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Pennsylvania) deliberately infected 200 female prisoners with viral hepatitis (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viral_hepatitis).[44] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unethical_human_experimentation_in_the_United_Stat es#cite_note-acres-91-44)
From the 1950s to 1972, mentally disabled children at the Willowbrook State School (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willowbrook_State_School) in Staten Island (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Staten_Island), New York (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_(state)) were intentionally infected with viral hepatitis, for research whose purpose was to help discover a vaccine (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vaccine).[45] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unethical_human_experimentation_in_the_United_Stat es#cite_note-45) From 1963 to 1966, Saul Krugman (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saul_Krugman) of New York University (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_University) promised the parents of mentally disabled children that their children would be enrolled into Willowbrook in exchange for signing a consent form for procedures that he claimed were "vaccinations." In reality, the procedures involved deliberately infecting children with viral hepatitis (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viral_hepatitis) by feeding (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feeding) them an extract made from the feces (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feces) of patients infected with the disease.[46] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unethical_human_experimentation_in_the_United_Stat es#cite_note-46)[47] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unethical_human_experimentation_in_the_United_Stat es#cite_note-47)
In 1952, Chester M. Southam (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chester_M._Southam), a Sloan-Kettering Institute (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sloan-Kettering_Institute) researcher, injected live cancer cells, known as HeLa (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HeLa) cells, into prisoners at the Ohio State Penitentiary (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ohio_State_Penitentiary) and cancer patients. Also at Sloan-Kettering, 300 healthy women were injected with live cancer cells without being told. The doctors stated that they knew at the time that it might cause cancer.[48] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unethical_human_experimentation_in_the_United_Stat es#cite_note-goliszek-228-48)
In 1953 Frank Olson (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Olson) died after a fall from a hotel building after being unknowingly doped with LSD (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LSD) by the CIA nine days prior.
The San Francisco Chronicle (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_San_Francisco_Chronicle), December 17, 1979, p. 5 reported a claim by the Church of Scientology (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_of_Scientology) that the CIA conducted an open-air biological warfare experiment in 1955 near Tampa, Florida (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tampa,_Florida) and elsewhere in Florida (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florida) with whooping cough bacteria (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whooping_cough_bacteria). It was alleged that the experiment tripled the whooping cough infections in Florida to over one-thousand cases and caused whooping cough deaths in the state to increase from one to 12 over the previous year. This claim has been cited in a number of later sources, although these added no further supporting evidence.[49] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unethical_human_experimentation_in_the_United_Stat es#cite_note-rogue-state-150-151-49)[50] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unethical_human_experimentation_in_the_United_Stat es#cite_note-50)
During the 1950s the United States conducted a series of field tests using entomological weapons (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entomological_warfare). Operation Big Itch (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Big_Itch), in 1954, was designed to test munitions loaded with uninfected fleas (Xenopsylla cheopis (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oriental_rat_flea)). In May 1955 over 300,000 uninfected mosquitoes (Aedes aegypti (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aedes_aegypti)) were dropped over parts of the U.S. state of Georgia to determine if the air-dropped mosquitoes could survive to take meals from humans. The mosquito tests were known as Operation Big Buzz (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Big_Buzz). The U.S. engaged in at least two other EW testing programs, Operation Drop Kick (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Drop_Kick) and Operation May Day (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_May_Day).[49] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unethical_human_experimentation_in_the_United_Stat es#cite_note-rogue-state-150-151-49)

I'll bet you your Vette against my house on that the Trump Admin will do the same thing. Will you take that bet?
I'm smarter than that and I understand Americans just can't help themselves, it's Brian making the outrageous claims of Berry not interfering in elections.
Barry did everything in his power to get HRC elected, including corrupting out justice system.

I'm still trying to figure out why the Democrats hate Trump so much. He is blowing through cash like a drunken sailor.
Never thought I'd see the day when Republicans are spending like there is no tomorrow and Democrats would be bitching about what it's going to do to the deficit.
Fun stuff....

Oh...not even close!
If you really think the FBI was doing Barry's bidding...then why wasn't that stinky bit of intel floated as an October surprise? He held onto that. I'll bet he's seen the piss tape. And, you know he knew about porn stars and three ways. He held the high ground. Smart...there woulda been bloodshed, and, not just some random dude showing up at a pizza parlor with an AK.

anyway--yea, Trump has had wifes, I'm sure they are all happy about it.
No one here has ever said he is a great personality, quite the opposite in fact.
He's an easterner, hard to like those easterners bit of a rare breed.
What he was elected to do was drain the swamp and he is being successful beyond anyone's wildest dreams.

I don't get it. Why was he painted to look like he's hiding in the shrubbery? Like some creepy stalker. Did he request to be painted to look like a window-peeper? Someone enlighten me, please.
I mean, personally I like Obama as a person. Not my very favorite president, but I considered him a guy worthy of respect. This portrait doesn't do him justice IMO.

As an employer I can tell you how a person maintains their personal life often has very little to do with how they preform in their professional life.
I'm not condoning wife beating, just saying it says little about how someone performs their job.
Two of the best employees I ever had were an alcoholic and a polygamous. Without doubt the two worst employees I ever had were both very religious family men.

For some strange reason #FakeNews is rejoicing at the fact that Robert Mueller handed down 13 indictments in his Russia probe today. However, I'm not really sure what they are so thrilled about.
Not only does the indictment not implicate Trump, but Rod Rosenstein admits that NO AMERICANS were involved in any scheme to collude in the 2016 Presidential election.
So.... unless I'm missing something the entire “Trump-Russia Collusion” narrative has just crashed and burned.

:popcorn:Whatever it is you're missing, I'm sure the liberals will figure it out. They're dug in so deep on this I can't see how they could just drop it now. I'm sure within 24 hours they'll come up with some kind of conspiracy theory that keeps it alive.
They'll likely accuse Mueller of being in the tank for Trump.

I read the entire indictment and watched the Rosenstein press conference on mind rotting cable news and took away 3 key points.
1. The Russians tried to meddle in the election.
2. No American wittingly helped the Russians.
3. No evidence that the meddling impacted the election results.

Heres the original order from Rosenstein, hiring mueller to investigate.

Yep--NO Americans knowingly colluded with the Russians an election tampering..
The elections were NOT affected by the Russian tampering.
The Russians will never be extradited to the US to face charges.
This should end the mueller investigation.
Now--on to the real criminals involved in attempting a coupe and many ,many felonies, including treason.
