    It is the area of slickrock just northeast of the dam (access via a gravel road from Hwy 89), where you can find the Hidden Gardens trail.

    is this the area called the "new wave"? Near the dam, approximately a mile past the dam on the left?
    I can remember a picture in brochure, but I'm not sure

    There is a dirt road, off US 89 on the left. I know where it is, but cannot remember the mile marker or anything like that.
