I totally agree with this. Nine months ago I said Trump is trying to get the Democrats to impeach him and many on Bogley said I was crazy as no president wants that. But anyone who has studied history knows impeaching Clinton was a huge mistake and resulted in his reelection and he was able to drag along the down ballot with him.

Trump is working the same angle. Independents are who elect the president and Trump is trying to make Democrats look like extremist to drag along the down ballot.

Barring a nuclear attack Trump will be reelected president. But he needs the House and Senate to really get shit done. Trump and the Senate have already transformed our judicial system for at least a generation.

I'm afraid this is more of a 100 years war. Eventually the left will understand they a fighting with a faulty strategy and will attack in a new direction.... the right went through this same thing and it took the contract with America and the Tea Party to get their agenda back on track. I personally see Trump as a large rock in the river disrupting the flow that will be washed away in 2024.

And this still does nothing to address the problem of the political elite living under a different set of rules then you or I. Many in the military have spent time in prison and been dishonestly discharged for mishandling classified material as Hillary did as one small example.

We know that attorney Clinesmith forged an email regarding Page's affiliation with the CIA to help the investigation to continue against him which of course gave them what they really wanted, the ability to go after Trump.
