How to instructions for interacting in forums?

So I'm a newbie to Bogley and feel slightly stupid.... I keep seeing replies with quotes from other comments. How do I do that instead of typing out the exact quote I want? I feel like it's a really easy solution that I'm somehow missing. :facepalm1:

Reply to a post? No problem. However, how do you only quote part of a post? Someone writes a paragraph and I only want to "highlight" one sentence. I've tried every way to Sunday and I can't figure it out.

Deleting everything around it can't be the answer...

EDIT: Well, it looks like my first question is answered...

The user tagging is automatic here, just put @ in front of anybody's username (spelled correctly) and it links to their profile and also gives them a notification they've been tagged. For instance, Sandstone Addiction ... you'll see that notification now and it will point to the post you were tagged in.

With linking words, just type the word or phrase, then highlight it and click the hyperlink button in the editor, choose the url you'd like that phrase to point to. :bandit:

Example, Google (http://www.yahoo.com). :haha:
