What does that wheel base work out to? I'm thinking about 60".
I'm sure they turn on a dime.

I can only see a few things wrong with these bikes.

1- Just to darn good looking.
2- I don't have one sitting in my garage.
3- I can see that I soon am going to be trying to keep up with a slug of these things in the hands of riders I can't keep up with now.

Nice job acca!
So it's basically a 450 short stroke then?
So just how do you set them up for more fuel?

Well that's two blue and yellows. Whose next? :lol8:

I'm thinking you just found the perfect trail bike.

So just how do you set them up for more fuel?
.

They make a really trick subframe tank that adds 1 gallon. It actually mounts to the subframe under the seat, and doesn't compromise the mass centralization of weight. It's also gadawful expensive!! They also make bigger main tanks, but they're even more costly. I'm going for the subframe tank. That's my two cents worth. Back to the important stuff. The new 390!! Can't wait to see it.

Mtnseeker1

I like the idea of the subframe tank.
I think it makes for a better trail addition by keeping the weight of the front end.

So that makes a total of what 3.25 if using the sub tank?

I remember looking at the Safari's and they are nice but not cheap.
Seems more guys were using the Acerbis Sahara tanks on the XR so that's the way I went.
I think I got a smoking deal on mine at $269. For the 6.3 gln. new.

Garbanzo
08-12-2012, 01:56 PM
I like the kick too. Its just not optimum for any riding other than track riding. It took a few months of riding it to figure it out. I fought the idea until I had some experience with it. I can trials-bike lug, then run it up to 90mph. Very few bikes will do that. I will not consider another brand for upgrade other than kTM or Husa. ;)

Husa bikes are different
The only dirt bike around that says yes to x-ring chains.
Everyone tells you o-ring. Muddy puppies for sure.:lol8:

THey are strange in the fact they don't seem to hit hard anywhere.
Like a diesel or an electric bike or something.
They just keep going faster and faster but don't seem to break much traction in doing so.

It seems to take out the fun factor but instead takes you where ever you want to go.

I'm seeing a big fall ride that's what I'm seeing:bootyshake:
Shit fall is right around the corner and I have three IRC scabbbs that need to be turned around and one Desert IT.

Now I need to find a PerM43 lol.

The hard part is the scabb I turned around is holding very well even with a bit of tar mat.

Them Husa's are bad boys and the only chance I can see to keep up with one is a KTM:lol8:

Screw it triple post or not.
