Just finished a morning at the Sports Mall.... Elliptical, treadmill and swim..... Not sure if I worked off all the beer I drank last night, but I gave it a good try....
It's almost noon and I'm finally up and having a cup of coffee. The boy has been up since 9 playing our (his) new Indiana Jones Lego video game. He sure loves those Lego video games.
He's getting pretty independent; made himself breakfast and put the dishes in the sink.
It's probably going to be a PJ day. I have homework and cleaning to do. He has his own homework, game time, non-game play time and some cleaning of his own do do.

At home after spending the day wishing that the sandblaster had shown up (couldn't come because of humidity) to sandblast the natural brick that previous tenants had painted, and get them back to au-natural. I had also hoped that Chad would show up to help texture and paint, but another no show! Matt called in early in the morn to let me know that he had 1st and 2nd degree burns over 25% of his body and wouldn't be able to help out!. ( I hope he gets well without complications?). I ended up making orders with Tom for some special order of Imlay Canyon Gear, masking for texture and paint, tearing out walls and replacing drywall, sweeping floors, setting up clinics for spring, submitting credit apps. and orders. I'm psyched and so anxious for my "The Desert Rat"! It's taking shape! Had one awesome hike on sunday as a reality check! :2thumbs:

Murray to Downtown.... 90% of that being on State Street..... Left at 7:00 AM and was here by 7:30..... I am going to have to add some length to the route, would like it to be closer to an hour each way. As it heats up, I will do just that..... Though I fear that the time change March 8th(right) is going to also throw a wrench in soon.....even it is warm, I cannot leave home much later than I am now.....

I purchased a new phone plan from Verizon Wireless yesterday - it should arrive by mail by Tuesday. Currently I have AT&T with a New York (917) area code. I will have a new phone # with an 801 area code cause keeping 917 would mean paying those darn NY taxes. This will save me a few bucks in taxes.
I actually wanted to switch because AT&T insulted me by sending me a $10 off of next bill reward in return for a new two-year contract, heh. Idiots! Plus I will get a 17% discount on my bills through my employer. Turns out we have some agreement with Verizon.
So here I was thinking that I will save money, pay around $40 bucks a month instead of $56 I am currently paying. That was until I saw this Samsung Omnia smartphone for $99 and figured that it's time to get wired so I can surf Bogley while in a public restroom. The catch is that unlimited internet access is mandatory with a smartphone and it's an extra $22 a month. So now my bill will be around $60. :ne_nau: What can ya do?

Just watched the Wallace Stegner documentary on KUED. Very cool. Why don't you make yourself useful Don and tell me the name of that tshirt.com place you order your cool ass t-shirts from. ;)
My favorite is Threadless (http://www.threadless.com/?=). These are tee's made from user-submitted artwork. Anyone can submit & be paid if their art becomes a tee. Watch for holiday or back-to-school sales at Threadless for great tee shirt deals.
Also check out Woot (http://shirt.woot.com/). Same concept, but Woot has one new shirt, for only 10 bucks shipped, every day. You have to check this site every day because if you miss the shirt the day it is featured you will have to pay 15 plus shipping later, or more likely, you will have missed it entirely.
And check out Uneetee (http://www.uneetee.com/). I only recently discovered this treasure and do not have any of their shirts yet.
Less artsy, but still some cool designs at Amorphia Apparel (http://amorphia-apparel.com/).

I try to check them regularly, but feel free to email or PM or Facebook me if you see any big sales going on at these sites...

Definitely overstayed its welcome, all right! We usually get snow about a half dozen times a year - and most of the time it snows overnight, and turns to rain the next day. Once a year we get snow for 3 days, and once a year it sticks around for a week. This year it's been crazy. Sure is weird seeing the palm trees covered in snow. :ne_nau:

Hating my cell phone provider Verizon. And I've only been their client for less than a week. Turns out the bastards are blocking use of the GPS feature with third party software, such as google maps. Their own map system is a paid service for $2.99 a day or $9.99 a month. Verizon is claiming that they are waiting for a software update from Samsung and if that update meets Verizon's expectations, it should be available in the first half of this year. I have less than 30 days to decide if I am going to stick with their service. I am thinking of changing the phone and plan to something cheap because somehow I have a hard time believing that they will unlock the GPS feature anytime soon. :frustrated:

Just woke up. Husband took kids to the continental breakfast here at the hotel so I finally have some peace and quiet. Going on holiday with kids isn't really a holiday just so you all know. HAHA!! I seriously may be flying solo to our May Moab trip (sorry Chere but momma needs a break).
Just trying to decide if we want to go hike in Arches today or go to Negro Bill's Canyon? Definitely going to hike Millcreek later today when it warms up.....I may have to take a dip if it's running well. :2thumbs: Then out by the pool to catch the late afternoon sun..........wish I didn't have to go home so soon.

Supper was good tonight. I decided on a white wine as we had king crab legs and mussels with salad, fried spinach in garlic and they had potatoes.
Just finished a nice pour of Foote Print Zinfandel Port.

Just in from an Army buddy's bachelor party. Spent more than I planned (bought the biggest bottle of Jager I could find; I don't drink that shit but he does; it wasn't the only empty bottle when I left). I'm not going to set an alarm for the morning!!!

Sipping coffee, reading bogley, eating a mormon muffin from the Greenery. Thinking I should be doing that, it cancels out the bike ride. Beh

So yesterday I got up early to make it to SL by 8AM for training. Got all the way to 400 S to find out that training had been cancled. Drive all the way back to Ogden to work. At 3 PM leave to head back to SL to work at the clinic. Get off 8:30pm (early) and head back to Weber to work. Work until 1:30 AM.
Get ready to leave my office and realize that when I opened the office next to me to get needed papers I left my keys in there... door is shut and locked. Call mom and phone rings and rings and rings and rings... no answer. {insert choice swear word here}
Call taxi. Taxi picks me up at 2:15am. Get home and TG the kids had left the house unlocked. (For once I won't yell at them for this mistake... at this point I am really really glad they left it open.) Pay cab 13.50 for a 10 min ride!!
Get to bed to wake up at 7AM to do the 5K run, walk, crawl with my the kids, Grandma and dog. Grandma, dog and I crawled. We were pretty much dead last.
I am beat I think it is nap time!

I was waiting with bated breath for Hazards & I was a bit disappointed at first (as I scrolled through the pieces). Great expectations will do that to a person!
