Glass on Willard - or is it Ice?

It was our first waterski of the year, unfortunately we couldn't keep our goal to go boating every month of the year. My record still stands at February 25th up at Willard Bay.

    Nonetheless....

The water was absolute GLASS. Smoothest I've seen in many years. Of course, we were the only ones RIDING on it....

Shad was cuttin' it up as always. Here are some stills from the video for now, plus a cell phone photo.

I love skiing glass.... anytime, anywhere.

Get an innertube and you can start and stop out of it without ever getting wet.

Nice video. Do you ever ski a slalom course? I was out on Utah Lake last Saturday skiing on the Utah Water Ski Clubs slalom course in similar conditions.

I've done the one up near Corinne near the refuge maybe 15 years ago or so but I haven't since. Shad is the skier in the video making the nice cuts and wearing the video, he does a few competitions here and there like up in Honeyville.

You got some great pictures and video on this one. Coolness.

Thanks. Soon it will be mounted to the ski itself.

Dude you are killing me. Are you wearing booties in the ski? I don't think I could get my ski on with booties. May have to go next warm day.

I like how the back seat in your Mastercraft raises up to create a bigger sun deck. I wish my Malibu did that.

Nah, my bare feet could barely fit in Shad's ski. The feet, hands, and head were the only things cold. While surfing though, we could wear the booties.
