    Stillwater Ride

We took off around 1pm for a ride up to Hanna and peeled off on a really cool and scenic dirt road that took us over to Stillwater Reservoir. We went up a really rocky trail to look around. It was a handful on the big GS's! So we turned around... We then hit pavement again and rode to Duchesne, then back home via highway 40.

What an awesome ride! Gotta do it again!

Yeah we didn't ride too far up that trail. The road from Hanna over though is very rideable.

That settles it! I'm going to be camping at the Stillwater Campground this weekend and was trying to decide if I should take my DR650. I'd rather ride than fish.

Nice ride! Looks pretty threatening, did you get rained on?

Nope. We avoided it somehow and got lucky. It rained hard in SLC while we were gone. The cooler temps felt great!

How is your hand treating you?
About ready for some dirt? Real Dirt?
If you want to ride let's ride and if you want an attitude well we just need to do some more ridding.

I'm ready. My thumb probably wont be 100% until next summer.

I've been holding down the fort at home, but I need to get out soon.

Yeah, you had two good options to choose from this past weekend. Bear lake with Mark or Paiute with us! Can't go wrong with either of those choices.

We had such a blast that I think we're going to go back up in a few weeks. Riding for 4 days was a blast, especially with all the wet mud! Though the hail storm we got caught in at the top above Kooshorem was not pleasant at all, weird to look down and see M&M sized hail sticking to your wet jersey. We looked like we had rolled in rock salt. Found some new trails (new to us) and had a blast. Though there was some confusion since it appears my map and the new trail #'s don't jive anymore. Must be time for a new map (Bruteforce would've known).
