Thread: Where is it? (Poor mans version)

I know where this is...it's in the Swell but I'll let someone else get it.
Suddenly my feet are feet of mud
It all goes slo-mo
I don't know why I am crying
Am I suspended in Gaffa?

Sorry @dakotabelliston hadn't realised I was up as I didn't quite nail it. Couldn't decide between a nice photo I had that may have been a bit easy for some, or a not so nice one that's a bit more challenging hopefully, so went for latter as I may not get a future go!

North Fork of Iron Wash?
-

I wasn't sure where Iron Wash is, but just looked and it's not there. I don't think this slot has a name although the small area it sits in does. I thought I'd wait another day or 2 before giving clues, but perhaps I should give more now as it's a fairly short slot that's not visited that much. Firstly it's a bit deceptive as this is not a canyoneering canyon that canyoneers would go to, it's something people would hike up as I did from its entrance. Perhaps you can also drop into it if approaching from the top/rim somewhere with a bit of scrambling or climbing beyond where I turned round - I'm not sure? - although I guess if I'd kept going to where it dead ends my guess is it may well be a bit steep or some sort of dryfall.

Oh for cryin' out loud, Ross...at least tell us the name of a nearby known canyon? That's a nice slot, BTW.
My guess is that it's over there by Bryce and the top end of the Paria.Suddenly my feet are feet of mud

ok, (thought most people don't get to look at the site til a weekend so was giving it a bit longer).
The place is in GSENM and this slot is not near any other slots. It's a short lone slot if you follow the wash inside a wider fairly short canyon. I'm looking for the wider canyon's pretty well known name as I've only heard a guide give a name for the short slot and I think that's just his name for it as I think the slot being only a few hundred feet doesn't have an official name.
If that's not enough my last album of photos on this site in the Dark Room should give it away.
I'm away next week so wont be able to look on here often so shall I put the other easier photo up?

It does look similar to tunnel slot but further west.
Walking backwards a bit towards it's mouth

Getting closer geographically.
Another walking further backwards...the wash just before the slot entrance

(most of you guys have been to so many more canyons than me that most of my photos are such well-visited ones they would have been far too easy for you!)

ok, stepping further back, somebody's got to get it now. The slot is within this named canyon, so what's the named canyon (it's in Kelsey books too)
