Wyoming antelope hunt
My daughter and my dad both had Wyoming Antelope tags. We left Friday and made the 12 hour drive to our unit getting there at 3:40 am.
We found a little spot on the side of the road and threw out bags out and slept under the stars for a few hours and were up at 7:30 hunting.
We had a very good day and were able to fill both of the tags on Saturday. We camped out again this night in a tent to keep us out of the wind and rain. Sunday morning we quartered up all the meat and headed back home.
Early Monday morning we made it home. A lot shorter trio than we had planned, but nothing beats spending time with your kids and your dad.

Way to get the younger generation involved. Congrats to both of you.

She has always been involved. Been on lots of deer, elk, lion & bear hunts. She got a decent buck last year with her bow

Very nice
I like that whitetail as well.
My daughter married a cattleman and they have a 2000 acre ranch, in OK.
Lots of good deer there but not quite that good, that I've seen yet.
We just got back from pig hunting there.I'm not Spartacus
It'll come back.

Great info guys, I appreciate it. As far as trophy hunting goes I dont expect to harvest a record. If I came back with a doe I would be happy. Im hopping I can get a doe tag as well as a buck tag. I was really curious about the weather and it seems that it can be all over the place that time of the year. This is something that I plan on doing at least once every other year. If not goats, elk mullies or maybe moose "hopefully someday". I figured for a first camping/hunting trip antelope would be a good choice. Ive got more than a year to wait and I already cant see strait.

I believe you can now take the hunter safety program online. Requirements are here...
