Cyber Attack
I posted this originally under 2020 but it's too big to not have it's own thread.
Nuclear weapons agency breached amid massive cyber onslaught
The Energy Department and National Nuclear Security Administration, which maintains the U.S. nuclear weapons stockpile, have evidence that hackers accessed their networks as part of an extensive espionage operation that has affected at least half a dozen federal agencies, officials directly familiar with the matter said.
On Thursday, DOE and NNSA officials began coordinating notifications about the breach to their congressional oversight bodies after being briefed by Rocky Campione, the chief information officer at DOE.

This is bad. Very, very bad. My IT group, which is a very large organization, has not had much sleep in the last 8 days. On the bright side, looks like Santa is bringing us a more secure network for Christmas.

You know they are panicking when they bring back the ol' Russian Hack narrative.
This was not a Russian job, by the way. Headlines are touting it as such, but no, it was not a Russian hack. Just like the DNC was not hacked by the Russians.

Well it's a good thing Biden is going to kick ass and take names, huh? Yep...WWlll will be quite the juicy addition the the bludgoening we've had to endure this last year, eh?
But in reality...there's a lot of tit -for-tat going on here. Has been for a long time...you're not going to hear much about the things we do to them. We kick them, they kick us back.
Also, I would say they're doing this to see how far they can shove it down Biden's throat...just like NK did when Trump showed up, flying those missiles over Japan. They want to see the level of pushback or what kind of deals can be made...the "realpolitik", boys and girls.
Nice, huh? My opinion of the "world leadership" as it is and has been is a bunch of dudes siting around a poker table waving guns in the air while making side deals on the sly.The end of the world for some...

I'm just glad the voting machines were secure or this could have given false results...

Now, now Dick...that's not nice.
Why don't you throw down some links or something of undeniable value that proves otherwise? Or are you just one of those guys that believes everything you're told...if it seems reasonable? If you haven't figured out they're feeding you bullshit by the ladleful then perhaps the moron is you?
I reckon you think that virus sprang out of some bat soup, huh? Well I sure as hell don't...maybe someday we'll find out who the dummy is, eh?The end of the world for some...

/\/\/\...yeah, I really don't get that guy.
He puts on a clown mask and runs around in circles, they he takes it off and comes in with reasonable intent...and then he shows up and vomits. Like a kid at the campfire all lit up on a sugar high.
Listen Dick...I'm all for diversity, I'm all for "color"...but your character performance is a bit sloppy. Why don't you just chose a functional angle and stick with it?The end of the world for some...

When you still firmly believe it was the Russians that hacked the DNC in 2016, there's quite a bit of stuff to catch up on since then.
