Trump doesn't run this country....Facebook and Twitter do.
It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

Trump signs historic conservation bill. This is actually a really big deal.

A couple years ago I spent a week hiking with 8 friends around Cedar Mesa. We were camped at Natural Bridges. There was a new guy with us...Steve...what a dickwad that guy was.
Anyway, we'd spent the first day hiking Bullet Canyon and then took a wonderful bike ride on the loop road at the park. Beautiful day...pure wilderness, great hiking and we didn't encounter a single vehicle as we rode the road...mid October, believe it or not. But this miserable bonehead Steve wasn't having any of it...all he did ALL DAY LONG was bitch about Trump and the horrible, greedy Republicans. Was talking about oil rigs dotting the landscape and everything around us bound to be destroyed by industrialists. I never did see a smile on his face.
That night as we sat around the fire we started talking about Bears Ears and the "controversy" around it. Pretty even keeled conversation but he got all pissed and stormed off to his tent. The next morning he packed up and split without saying a word to anyone. Later my buddy that brought him along said he got a hand written letter from him saying in so many words that they weren't friends anymore.
Personally, I'm thrilled about this. It's about time. I wonder what the "Walking the Taco" chick that posts around here every now and then would say about this? The end of the world for some...
The foundation of paradise for others.

FWIW - Walking the Taco is/was a ranger at Aches NP. From what I remember at least she lived in reality. It would be interesting to hear her take.

Just goes to show how deeply embedded Trump Derangement Syndrome really is... when fantastic news for the future of our National Parks and public lands is met with nothing but criticism and vitriol.
It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

I wonder how all of that oil drilling is going in Bears Ears. Heck maybe that's the real reason for the oil surplus this last Spring, they found so much at Bears Ears they couldn't sell it to the Rockefellers fast enough.
If Trump would focus more on selling the oil, instead of breaking up all of these gay marriages and deporting housekeepers, then we wouldn't have had such a terrible economy crash this year.

Oh and nuking the gay muslims in Iran, he's gotta stop nuking the gays.
He's had his "finger on the nuke button" for almost 4 years now, a grown man child with a baby temper tantrum, he's sent so many nukes. He's such a war monger, even CNN stopped reporting on all of his wars because they were too bloody for them.
