Unfriended....
True story.
Gosh.....I guess some people just don't have much of a sense of humor. I decided to "play" and answer a questionnaire ....you know......just for the heck of it (on Facebook). Well, apparently my answer to question number 1 was not received well and I was "unfriended". ( "Defriended"?) What are your thoughts:
Question 1: What would you hate to find on your windshield?
My reply: A pedestrian.
wth.....I thought it was funny!Never regret anything that made you smile!

I thought it was funny... sometimes you are just better off without certain people in your life.

It's a pretty odd phenomenon, really. I mean, we ALL do stupid things. Lord knows I've done and said some pretty stupid things. But when other folks have called my attention to it, instead of taking offense, I've taken advantage of that opportunity to change my behavior to something less stupid.
I would think everyone would do that. Otherwise, you look even more stupid. It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

I decided this needs it's own thread because I'm guessing several of us have some funny stories of being unfriended.... I'll post one later....

Speaking from experience... when you're hanging out on a French Cycling Forum and someone asks "who won the first Tour de France?" Don't reply with "the 5th Panzer Division" if you want to remain a member.

I've never been on Facebook, so I've never had to suffer the indignity of being "unfriended"...wether I deserved it or not.
However, I've had quite a few angry girlfriends disappear and never come back.Suddenly my feet are feet of mud
It all goes slo-mo
I don't know why I am crying
Am I suspended in Gaffa?

Well, I certainly don't live or die by Facebook opinions, but I do like the fact that (for the most part) my contacts are people that are family and friends that I'm close with, but no longer live close by. Good news and bad news, it's info that I may not have found out at all had I not been connected. I enjoy seeing photos and reading about milestones along the way.
Never regret anything that made you smile!
