New Zealand Mosque Attack
The attack in New Zealand sickens me. Evil and terror remains alive and well in this world. We can never let our guard down at home or abroad.
What prompted me to post this was a comment from an educated acquaintance of mine who, while musing about his current life, stated this:
"And I'm thinking of American terrorism..... Today, I mourn for the terror my country has exported to New Zealand. We can do so much better. Be well."
That hit a nerve. I welcome any reasonable justification of this statement. I can't think of any. The U.S. somehow "exported" terror to New Zealand? NOPE.Life is Good

It's Trumps fault, haven't you been following mainstream media today? Sounds like your acquaintance has been listening to CNN this morning because "Trump is exporting hate" and "guns are evil" are their main talking points today.
Welcome to #FakeNews.

Sorry Scott, but I think your "educated acquaintance" has a little bit of shit for brains.
Personally, I'd ask him for suggestions when he says "We can do better"...because I can't think of anything to stop someone who is absolutely dedicated to sacrificing himself to his misery, which is what this guy in NZ did. The responsibility for what he did is 100% his.
This may sound a little strange...but I see humanity as a giant field with dominoes stacked on end, very close to each other. Billions of them. Most are still...those are people just going thru life, minding their own business. Others are vibrating...those are people that have serious issues, and some of the "shakers" explode. Suicide.
Some of these "shakers" take out others nearby when they go up. Those are killers. The trick is to go thru life hoping you're never that close to one of those.
I'm sorry for those folks that got killed, but if you could hover above this giant field, you'd see shakers all over the place...everyday.Suddenly my feet are feet of mud
It all goes slo-mo

I took the chance to go read the shooter's manifesto. He praised Trump as a symbol of white nationalism, but railed against him for his policies.
Obviously, the manifesto is all over the place but the shooter does not seem to be a Trump supporter. He wrote that China aligns most closely with his political beliefs.
It bothers me that sites are trying to hide or remove the manifesto. How can we expect to learn from this whack job and prevent something like this happening again if we don't study it?

Well... he seemed to likey the Trumpey in the Manifesto... Has anything good come from someone writing a Manifesto? Seriously.

That being said, White Nationalism has been around long enough to not label it a US export. I'll blame the Trumpster only that he's made white nationalists bold to a higher degree. He didn't pull the trigger. He didn't do the deed. It seems like he has given it a blind eye, like that guy at the Jazz game on Monday telling Russell Westbrook to get on his knees becomes somehow acceptable. Words matter. It's should be off putting to any normal human being to call someone a "Boy" or "Get on your knees" or shoot up anyone different than you.
Nobody should be murdered in a place of worship.

A lot more to it then Trump... The shooter also aligns himself with communism and socialism by saying his political views most align with China. Also states something to the effect of he choose a school shooting to cause turmoil in the US.... yada, yada... it still all boils down to personal responsibility and mental issues.

I still believe the media is to blame for mass shootings as much as anyone... they elevate these criminals to legendary status.
Losers like Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, guys who will never be anything in life, become famous and historic names.
I bet more people can tell you the names of the Columbine shooters then can name all three astronauts of Apollo 11.

it's simple for the left, worldwide, and the jimmy, to want to pin responsibility on everyone and everything other than ones self.
We are all responsible for our deeds--good or bad, to scapegoat that fact shows true lack of logic and decency.
People are good/people are bad, it cannot be controlled, everyone is responsible for their own choices.
Bad people will do bad things at any time, it cannot be stopped.I'm not Spartacus

I was born in Christcurch in 1951. Never lived there until 1974, married my California sweetheart in ChCh in 1975. Christchurch considred itself to be a city but was and is really just a large town. A sleepy hollow. This masacre truly shows that there is no significant population center on this planet that is safe from nut jobs with lethal weapons.

ahh-hah, it was Chelsey Clintons fault

this sounds every bit as un intelligent as blaming Trump.
No matter what happened in the killers life--he took it upon himself to murder people, he is responsible, no one/nothing else.I'm not Spartacus

Scott
How does your "educated" aquaintance feel about this?
Radical Muslims murdered more than 30 Christians in Nigeria last week. This is just the latest account of systematic Islamic violence towards Christ-followers in that country.
The Guardian reports that Fulani herdsmen assaulted the Christians around 4 a.m. in Karamar village in the Maro district of Kajuru.
The herdsman reportedly set fire to several houses and a church. The terrorists then sporadically shot at families trying to escape the blaze, killing 32 people.
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) also condemned the deadly assault and urged young Nigerians not to retaliate against the terrorists.
“We have appealed to the youths in the area that there must never be any reprisal. We want to give the security operatives in the state the benefit of the doubt to go after the killers. We don’t want any reprisal attack because the circle of violence and killings will continue,” Rev. Joseph Hayap added.
CBN News reported last year that hundreds of Christians were killed in clashes with the Muslim herdsman.
Last June, Fulani herdsmen, who are mostly Muslim attacked six predominantly Christian villages in Nigeria’s Plateau state. Many of those killed were Christians, and they were reportedly hacked to death.
According to the Global Terrorism Index, Fulani herdsmen have killed more than 60,000 people since 2001.
What he and the "jimmy", here have in common is manufactured, selective, outrage.
the "jimmy" says all people should be safe in their place of worship.
Did this not include Christians?
Obviously not or he would have "selected" this event to cause outrage.
The hypocrisy dial is on very high with these folks.
heres the jimmy's quote:
"Nobody should be murdered in a place of worship. "

another church attack less than 2 months ago.
Where was the outrage?
Did not fit jimmy and the educated's criteria for feigned outrage

Major theory now that the shooters manifesto is really a false flag. Politically the shooter is a socialist, so what better way to forward your agenda.
