My point is, we are headed towards socialism, it can be stopped momentarily BUT free shit is good and we have a generation and a half wanting theirs.

Our Constitutional Republic has been a great experiment, the greatest in history(arguably)

But history often, if not always, repeats and being self governed is logically doomed, eventually.(we are a bit past our expiration already)

Is this coming soon, or at all? I don't know but it will take a radical shift to recover.

Trump has been that shift but who's next?

Not a single Republican could say they were fighters until Trump showed them how.

The only 2 likely option for the future would seem to coast into full on socialism or have an actual bloody civil war and to the victor go the spoils.

Balkanization seems an obvious path, it will all come down to who is willing to stand up for their side and make others die for theirs.

Sounds grim, I know but there are but 2 paths--Socialism or Capitalism.
