Hosting classified and top secret government information on a personal unsecured server. To the best of my knowledge the fact that she did this (and than tried to cover it up) is no longer in dispute by anyone involved. Nor is the fact that this is illegal in dispute. Others have been sent to prison for the same thing and less.

Ok...from what we know, she did use a personal server and had classified information on it. None of the information was mishandled and certainly not intentionally. Not enough of a crime to prosecute. Bad judgment? Yep.
No different than Colin Powell or Condie Rice. Where's the outrage for them? Why aren't you chanting, "lock them up"?
Name one person sent to prison for the same or less. Remember, she wasn't in the military.

Ok...we got some constitutional folks here...
The Emoluments Clause. Why isn't Trump guilty of violating it?

Powell and Rice did not have classified material on unsecured personal servers. And even if they did two wrongs do not make a right.
Kristain Saucier was sent to prison for less, and you are correct Hillary was not in the military, she was Sec of State, which was a much higher and more trusted position.
So your defense is it's OK to break the law if others are doing it and it's OK to break the law because you hold a high postion in the US government... got it...
You are attempting to defend the indefensible and you know it, but feel free to keep hitting all the Clinton and CNN talking points.

Its the reason Trump is president. I was outraged and still am, I did vote though unlike many Bernie supports.
There is a simple solution to all of this, winner take all should be mandated in all states. While we're at it, bag the Electoral College and make the Presidential Race a popular vote contest.

Not a good idea. Not even a mediocre idea.

So, You Say You Want To Get Rid Of The Electoral College, Eh?
Hmm. Careful what you wish for, you guys.
Jason Linkins
In a testament to humanity’s willingness to take on the most futile tasks imaginable without regard to sanity, it was announced Tuesday that outgoing Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) has put forward legislation that would scrap the Electoral College in favor of electing the president of the United States by popular vote. I have this funny feeling that Boxer is so motivated by the fact that the Democratic presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton, won the popular vote, but lost the election.
Needless to say, fans of the Electoral College (and they’re mostly fair-weather fans) should not worry unduly. The Los Angeles Times’ Sarah D. Wire reports the obvious fact that Boxer’s measure “is unlikely to gain traction with Republicans holding control of both chambers of Congress in a lame duck session.” (Also: 38 of the 50 states would have to ratify this.)
One thing that the Electoral College has going for it, in terms of its own self-perpetuation, is that the occasion to discuss it only arises every four years. If you start talking about scrapping the system before the election, you’ll get shut down because no one likes “changing horses in midstream,” as they say. And if you start talking about it after the election, then you’re probably just plucking sour grapes from the vine.
It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

Which means you went with the program and fell in line just like a good lemming. Not tryin' to give you grief, I just don't understand it.
If the Republicans had pulled some bullshit like that, I would have ditched the GOP faster than you can say "Where did he go?" I'd likely never vote again...and join the ranks of those waiting for the great third party miracle worker to show up.
I certainly understand that corruption reigns supreme in the DC swamp, but throwing down the rubber stamp of approval with something so in your face as that I would never tolerate.Suddenly my feet are feet of mud

No not at all. I've never understood it. In general elections popular vote should be the deciding factor. Most argue that the country shouldn't be dominated by Blue States yet I don't see why someone's vote from Iowa is essentially weighted more than someone from NY or California. Votes should be equal regardless of state.

That's obvious..... The first thing you need to understand is we are a democratic republic and not a true democracy. Once you understand why our founding fathers decided on a democratic republic and not a democracy you will understand why we have an electrol college.

^^^^^^^Yep
With a popular vote, New York and California would decide all elections, flyover states would have no reason to vote.
With electoral college, every state has a say and that say is based off their population.I'm not Spartacus

Sucked sucked sucked.
HRC was no good choice either. Ohhh...Donna. Yeah, the system was rigged for sure.
I for sure didn't think Bernie was electable, but, I think more of the haters would have stayed home. As it was, Bernie fans stayed home. And, the hate machine energized folks to get out against "Crooked Hillary" and they showed up in droves.
Between Comey's bad timing, Russian influence (and Barry's reluctance to drop dime and influence the election...because he's an honorable guy...), and losing the rust belt (no repeat of Bill's assault weapons ban), she lost. Not by much, but, she lost. Unfair and square (ha ha).
But, she was a better choice for the country than Trump. By far. Putin owns him (and hated HRC). If that doesn't give you any pause for concern....well...here we are.
What the Democrats (and Republicans for that matter) have to do is get some traction with the common man (person) in the US. Understand why. And then appeal. I have no confidence that they'll do it. If the economy continues on its strong course, they'll need to be a fairly decent meltdown between now and 3 years. Which, every week...tick tick tick...only a matter of time maybe.
Stay tuned!

Talk about no good deed goes unpunished.... LMAO
The democrats rigged the election with one of the few people on the planet who could lose to Trump.
I'm the first to admit Trump is a flawed individual, but the nation decided he was a better choice than crooked Hillary.

Yes indeed...what we have here is an irreconcilable view of reality. I keep waiting for anyone, anyhow, anyway to SHOW ME that our Prez is Putin's boy...I don't see it. Show me the beef and I'll sign right up.
You say a Clinton win would have been preferable? Even with the shenanigans you acknowledge? Personally, I'll never vote for an "appointed" candidate.
Personally, I think the election of Trump is the best thing to happen to our country since Reagan. Otherwise we would have lost it all to a corrupt oligarchy...thank God Obama blew chunks so bad.
It's too bad all these pathetic c**ks*****s in the media are freaking out. Gumming up the works (pun intended) for no good reason.
Different views of reality, indeed.Suddenly my feet are feet of mud

Yeah, I don't know whether to laugh...or cry...
She bounced off that glass ceiling and smacked into the floor...ugh.
I kinda like that lieutenant gov in Cali. If there wasn't such a hate of all things Cali... Wonder how Biden would fair...
We'll see what the mid terms bring. Jenny gettin' slaughtered by Mittens. Chatted with her dad briefly the other day...his quote, "Mitt has star power". I agree with him that she might have stood a snowball's chance against Hatch.
Ben v Mia. That'll be a doozy. Too close to call and she has the incumbent edge (and also hasn't aligned with the groper in chief). She might be tough to pick apart. Maybe folks will remember she's from one of them shithole countries.
