Cedar Mesa Surprise
Hi All
throught I'd share some photos from a random hike I did in Cedar Mesa last year. Total surprise of the best kind for that place.
Saw something interesting on the cliffs.
after much circuitous wandering up ledges I reached the ruin
The largest structure was an above ground circular kiva
With an intact roof. I saw no evidence of reconstruction.
I managed to stick my camera in the hole at the base to gain a view of the inside.
pretty awesome to say the least.
Anyone else ever been here?
sorry no location info. Wander long enough and you'll find it.
enjoy!

cool photo, Smaug! Awesome sunbeam. Was that one restored or just very well preserved?
Willing to share? PM details if possible

I just compared the photos and you're right! they are the same place! I didn't compare the walls on the side of my one photo. Seems like a tricky shot to get. I could barely get the one interior image that I did.
Nice job, Smaug!
