Thanks! I owe a lot to the Bogley crew for helping me decide what to do with it.
I added more Tom Jones and Alex too and lots of Bo. ;)

I just destroyed my old outdoors website and rebuilt it as a blog where I will be posting my trip reports from now on. I did of course post a link to Bogley on every page.
www.backcountrypost.com
I only have about half of my existing trip reports up now but I'll be putting up the rest over the next couple of weeks.

Another good reason to link to Bogley.
Link to other high-quality sites.
Well-crafted, relevant links to great sites can impress both your visitors and the search engines.
Link to other web sites? Won't linking out make me lose business?
No way! You can improve your visitors' experience and your own credibility by adding carefully chosen links from your pages to complementary content on other high-quality web sites. The more relevant and specific your links, the more relevant and valuable your own site will seem, and the more likely your visitors will be to return.
Great links can also help influence your reputation with search engines. Like your readers, search engines tend to appreciate links to other great sites, and can be turned off by links to irrelevant or poor sites.
Hint: Including pertinent keywords in the link itself can not only help your reader decide if the link is worth clicking; it may also help influence your rank for those keywords in search results.

Link building is so basic...tried and true. Getting your content on other websites is becoming the new trend that Google is factoring into their algorithm. Google looks at websites very similar to how a user would look at a website. Social networks, blogs and forums like Bogley are a great place to not only link to, but to also place your content and links. The content along with a link is more relevant to an actual user and will get you more clicks, which makes your site look more important. The more content you can place on other properties the better...thats why social networks and forums are so valuable. However, Google is now penalizing old school linkbaiting...old tactics. You really need to do what will give your site the most traction with other websites...it's not just about links anymore. Google gives high pagerank to the most relevant content related to a search...along with the popularity of the property...along with a dozen other factors.

Well, a little late to the party as usual but I've also linked to Bogley on one of my websites: http://reibiker.smugmug.com/
Also had a decal on my back car window for some time now. Very nice.
