If you only could do 1 canyon in Utah next year what would it be? ( I would like an idea of amazing canyons to do before my LDS mission )

Best canyon in Utah
Depends on your experience level. And time of year. If the water is reasonably low, Kolob or boundry are two good ones.

Imlay and South Fork Choprock are certainly up there. I haven't done Heaps yet though, but it's #1 on my to do list.
Utah is a very special and unique place. There is no where else like it on earth. Please take care of it and keep the remaining wild areas in pristine condition. The world will be a better place if you do.

My favorite canyon is usually whatever one I did last because it is the freshest in my mind and emotions.

Favorite Canyon
Ditto that.
I have never done Neon Canyon, and that is high on my wish list for next year. Expecting that it might rank high up the liost after doing it. I've been doing several in the Moab area lately; some of those have become favorites. Want to get back to the Zion area next year, as the whole entire Zion area is one of my favorites.
But my all time favorite canyon has to be Mystery in Zion. It was one of my first ever, and has so many good memories attached to it.Only Dead Fish Go With The Flow

DO Shenany! No question, you will love it unless you are 4 feet tall.
@RAM informed me that Freezefest will be from "Dec 26th - Jan 3rd or so" this year.THE MOST TALKED ABOUT CANYONEERING TRIP OF 2017 - WEST CANYON VIA HELICOPTER.

Agree. (I meant to qualify it that way.)
Link up your Shennany trip report, Bob. It is really good - a classic!
(uh, I guess I could do that:
