I've been staying out of this argument and silently being amused from the sidelines for the past few weeks, but I have to say something now. Tom, unless you are making a joke with all your rubbish bin comments, you're simply being a DICK. People aren't listening to you anymore and they may be posting "offensive" things deliberately to piss you off.

If you youtube "hide yo kids hide yo wife," you'd realize this was not a racist comment at all, as this person actually said those words on television. And I absolutely would show that to my grandmother, and she'd laugh hysterically. I don't believe it violates any other rules, so please stop trying to shove your puritan values down everyone's throats. People want to have a little fun. That's why it's called FUNNY Pictures thread. If you can't handle marginally offensive content, go hang out on lds.org.

There is a Funny Picture thread in the Rubbish Bin, filled with racist, ugly, derogatory, Obama-bashing, Muslim-bashing, blasphemy, gay-bashing (lots of gay-bashing), misogynistic (lots of misogynistic) "humor", some of which is actually funny. There are basically no rules there. It's a great place, I look at it every day.

This thread is a Funny Picture Thread in the GENERAL section. It is for clean stuff. It's meant to be Safe For Work, even Puritanical work environments where some of the members of the forum work.

I'm not attempting to censor (by my enormous charm) your ability to post whatever misogynist racist expletive-filled rubbish that somehow provokes your un-socialized funny bone to Bogley; I am merely suggesting that rubbish should be put in the rubbish bin.

Perhaps you think my definition of rubbish is too wide. May I suggest in a public forum, in the General Section, that a wide definition of "rubbish" should be applied, rather than a narrow definition. Especially since that same public forum has a rubbish bin section that is completely free of rules... well, child-porn would probably be considered beyond the pale... and snuff-films...
