I fell into
A burnin' ring o' fire...We scouted several spots on Sunday but most had large crowds forming(Gap, Brianhead Peak, main pulloffs of Cedar breaks). So we did the obvious thing and loaded beer, blankets and camera's and hiked along the rim of Cedar breaks until we found a suitable location. We packed 2 dslr's, one with a long lens(these pics) and the other with a wider lens(haven't looked at those yet)We timed our shots every 5 minutes, except when the eclipse went annular, then I shot a bunch.I won't post the whole series but here are some of the highlights. I struggled with exposures at the end when the sun was nearing the horizon.
I have no idea why these posted in reverse order????

We bought our glasses off of Amazon. Sarah and I hiked Subway Saturday and barley made it out in time to zoom home and join Spencer to watch the eclipse. Awesome!
We are saving our glasses so we can see Venus on June 5th cross in front of the sun.
Love the pictures Kurt!Chere'

Really nice shots. We saw it on our street but only for moments due to the clouds.
