Spoiled living in st george
I do enjoy living this close to Zion. Got off work thursday night with nothing to do. Decided to make a run to zion and secured some keyhole permits. Did a slow and fun 2 hour run through. Opted to skip 1 rapel and slide down the crack which is way more. Got back into zions and Watchman had a campsite open so we booked it. Went into springdale to Oscars, ate some great food. Spent the night in the campground (i am not a big campground fan, but it makes it easy). Got up at 6 and went back into St. George and still made it to work on time. Gotta love spur of the moment trips and the memories they give you

Hehehe, I'm jealous too.
Can I imigrate to somewhere around Zion?
Needing a foodtechnologist somewhere around there?
But I'll make sure I'll enjoy as never before in October...

if you spell it like it "sounds", zions sounds like a bank
well all enjoy the endless number of people in utah that tack on the 's'
usually reminds me of when people tack on an 's' to a business, like it's the name of a person,
you know, like folks used to do waaay back in the day when businesses were run by ... a person.
let's go to zion's ... the french might say chez zion
on another note, isrealis i know seem amused when they first hear that in utah
there is zion and a jordan river pouring into a very salty lake

if thats what it takes to feel good about yourself then i can take it. don't really see the purpose of being 100% spelling and punctual on a canyoneering forum. i type it and if it gets mispelled or misgrammered it stays that way. zions only sounds like a bank if you know there is a "zions" bank. the shift key is one of those things, sometimes i like it, sometimes i am lazy about it. i will go back and redo my hooked on fonics course see what i can do about it. in the meantime, i will keep planning our next adventure. we have done 12 canyons in the last 2 months and will try to keep it up.
