Winter trip to Powell
Ok I am giving this a shot. My first trip report. I have been going to Powell in the winter for 20 years and I have always had such a great time. I am on third generation coming along. Me my kids now grandkids. We try and get down there on the 3rd week of jan. With weather a bit on the hairy side we waited until Feb. The trip took us to the big flat slab of sandstone across from the new spall or Iceberg canyon.

Very nice.
We've been going "over" to Powell since March, every trip more boats start to show up.
In early March, we saw one other boat.
Trying to learn about striper fishing, been catching quite a few.
Love the lake in the off season. Oh--and last week, we had kids and grandkids along also, swimming still a little cold........
