gunlock reservoir conditions?
Anyone know if Gunlock Reservoir (near St. George) is overflowing at this time? I thought since nearly most Northern Utah reservoirs are over 100% capacity and the flooding up here - and with the snowpack at the Virgin above 150% over a month ago...that reservoir has to be filled to the brim right?
And according to current conditions at stateparks.utah.gov - it says its 3,070 out of 3,070. So safe to assume it is?
If it is, it has awesome waterfalls. Making the drive from SLC just once to see him is ENTIRELY worth the trip alone...●Canyoneering 'Canyon Conditions' @ www.candition.com

I was there a week ago and it wasn't. I'd be interested to find out if that's changed, though.

I went canoeing last sunday and we paddled up to the spillway. I'd say that it was running over maybe about 50-100 cfs? There were numerous waterfalls and swirl pools. It was really pretty. Lots of trash in the reservoir from the re-filling. The lake water is full of moss "floaties", but it was awesome taking the wife and dogs and friends in their canoe with their dog. Water was delightful for swimming. Quite a few people walking to the spillover, but very few people on the lake.
