From Guardsman on Monday. I was out shooting all day and these first few pictures are the best I came home with.

I was surprised at the variation of colors. I haven't seen it quite like that up at Alta in the past.

Great photos, everyone! Interesting how orange many of the aspen were this year - we experienced the same thing here in the southern San Juans.
Here are some from a shoot I took yesterday afternoon, west of town, near La Plata Cyn, and then south of Hesperus. There are additional/different photos on my blog from the same shoot.Sonya

All of the orange aspens turned into gold. I didn't get out for long this past weekend but Little Cottonwood Canyon was blowing up. Probably still pretty good. A sea of yellow on the North facing, Reds, etc. on the South facing.

Here are a few from the hike to Stewart Falls this past weekend...

I have been up on the Alpine Loop the last three days in a row. The colors are awesome but the rain has made shooting a huge pain and the wind is putting all the leaves on the ground in a hurry.

I haven't been to the Alpine Loop once this year but have been screwing around a fair amount in Little and Big Cottonwood Canyons.
These are from Saturday afternoon and Monday evening. It is starting to get to a point where you have to get creative.

Fall is such a great time for the photography, some beautiful pictures on here.
I was in Zion last Sunday and it was pretty good, seems to be a tough Fall in SW Utah, trees are not cooperating.
