Jakes Lure Luck!!
I sent in an idea to Jakes Lures and they replied saying that it sounded like a good idea.
They then sent me one and said we will have YOU test it.
Well anyway it worked great and it sounds like it will be for sell soon!!

Nice!! I have been using a Jakes since college.....many many moons ago. I have had spotty luck in the Uintahs and really good luck at Potters Ponds in Fairview canyon with the gold Jakes. Again, well done

looks good. i'd buy it if it didn't have that treble hook.
i have worked as a fishing guide for 16 years and treble hooks make it 3 times harder to release fish back into the water. i've seen many manufacturers offer a line of their lures with single hooks as well as the treble hook. But if I agreed with you, we would both be wrong.

I bet i could convince them into making it with one hook.

I use a treble for that very reason, I don't catch and release, i catch and eat

Neat lure. Looks like a good ice-off color for trout and maybe handy for walleye. Congrats on the prototype.
Designed with a treble, I'll fish it with a treble. It certainly improves the catch rate, if they're biting that kind of gear. They're not that hard to get out and if it rips them, keep them. No biggie.

Sounds like Jakes is a pretty cool company to do that! I wonder if they did make it, would they let you name it?
Two wheels are better than four, keep the rubber side down.

Well a nickname for a Jake's lure is a "money clip", so perhaps they could call this one the...

Very nice! That should be a good addition to the Jakes line of lure. I bought my first "Jakes" in Beaver Utah at a gas station in 1984. The guy who worked there said they were great....and he was right! I always carry a Jakes when in trout country.
