Beta~Dirty Devil Slots
Stefan has been so kind as to set up a little website with the mini-
slots that I have been publishing.
Here are a couple of pages which are a small preview of the finished
product.
Angel Slot:
http://www.math.utah.edu/~sfolias/minislot/?i=angelslot
Angel Cove Canyon:
http://www.math.utah.edu/~sfolias/minislot/?i=angelcove
Let it be clear that both these canyons had clear indications of
previous descent. I am not claiming first descents or anything else.
Use the beta with caution, and be advised that conditions can change.
Plenty of the anchors are in the water course and could be washed out
when you get there...
If you have questions or comments, please write to me.
Keep in mind that Stefan has put a bunch of work into compiling this
information and has written the whole thing by hand...
Thanks go out to him, big time!

You guys are both amazing! I was just spending a few minutes wandering around here and there grabbing what beta I could for my next trip, in April. Click on Bogley - and looky here, some of Dave's amazing finds... Right where I wanna be.
Thanks so much. Looking forward to more (NO PRESSURE!!!)

Some pictures from Angel Slot (I went with dave on the scouting trip and for our first descent).

I would embedd them but it's too much of a pain to do at work, and I'm too busy moving to do it at home.

The website that hosts your pics is kinda goofy and hides the real link to the picture.
The picture I posted above was:
Code:
To find the true link to the picture place your cursor over the pic, right click, select properties, and the "address" is it. Your can just cut (CTRL-C) and paste (CTRL-V) the addrees into Bogley or most other forums.
You can do this with any picture on the web unless the website has "hotlinking" disabled, which is kinda rare.

Well- Angel Slot is about as good as any other canyon out there. Nothing technically challening. Some good rappels, a few downclimbs and some awesome, deep narrows.

good meeting you DWayne. i agree, angel is about as good as it gets for bang for the buck. we did the optional last rap as well, and i must say, it's a goodie! cool little lagoon at the junction with the main canyon as well.
