    Ruins in the sky

We took advantage of the wonderful weather and went on a fun little hike to Lewis Lodge Ruins. These ruins are very well protected and pretty tough to access - no ropes necessary, but you have to access the ruins by starting on the opposite side of the canyon and working your way all around. Anyway, here are some pics...

    Wow!

    Wow! Just incredible pictures!

I make my way the the beautiful state of Utah once a year for 6 days. This would be an incredible dwelling to see. Last year, one of my hikes was to Hotel Rock in Arch Canyon. I tried to find it last year, but to no advail. I'm traveling throught the Cedar Mesa area next month, May 11th and 12th. I understand not posting the location on the internet, but I was wondering if you would be so kind as to tell me where this site is.

    Thanks for your time.

    Sincerely,

Wow! So there's a clear trail all the way there, huh? Man, that looks sketchy.

This doesnt even look possible! Is it as sketchy as it looks?

It's definitely not as bad as it looks (at least to get to the ruins in the picture.) We took in small children and a dog. However, where the photographer is standing, it is a bit more tricky and we didn't take the group to those ruins.

Great ruins, went with the scouts when I was a kid. Thanks for the pictures!

My palms are sweaty just looking at those photos......pretty incredible though that human beings made homes lodged all the way up in that canyon!! Glad the hike wasn't as sketchy as it looked.
