We got the tent laid out, but then it was history! Our first conceived happened before it was erect! The TENT I mean!

I see the men on this group don't need this article.
And just think... that little one just got married.

3-person tent, three poles plus headroom, check.
sleeping pads, multiple 2+ inches thick, check.
mating bags, bring more than two and lay them out flat, check.
keeping clean, only takes a washcloth and a gallon on the stove, check.
i've had this stuff covered for years.seen all good people turn their heads each day so satisfied I'm on my way...

Even bikers?
There are only five bikes in my stable: race, cross, touring, and two hardtails but looking to trade for another full squishy (sold the FSR).
I own almost twice as many backpacks, three tents, four pads, three bags, four stoves, ...
I'd prefer to spend my time doing four to six multi-day bike tours and pack trips each year.
Unfortunately, members of the fairer sex who prefer to do so seem to be about as rare as hen's teeth.seen all good people turn their heads each day so satisfied I'm on my way...

Sex in the Outdoors by Buck Tilton (I have a signed copy...).
Preplacing the "sex towel"...most important...for in the tent/bag.
Baby wipes...
Zip together sleeping bags seem like a good idear, but, in reality, aren't.

I have tears from laughing so hard. I knew there had to be a specific reason you didn't like the zipped bags. The man thong is wrong.

Did a trip into the Tetons a bunch of years ago. Me and mine crawled into a single, lightweight sleeping bag in the livingroom, and, I'm thinkin', wow, this works great and what a great way to save on weight. We hike in, late, after dark, get to camp, and I'll be darned if for some reason we don't fit in the single bag. Slept out all night, froze my butt. Tired the next day. Got a late start, solo'd the Exum (we'd had bigger plans), topped out around 11am, slept on the summit until 1pm, then back down and home. Was kinda funny.
Best to unzip single bags and use them as blankets...more, ahem, freedom of movement...
And less fartsack action.
