Yankee Doodle is a fun little slot.... did you encounter any water?
A couple of years ago there was some swimming required to complete the route, then a big flood filled the swimming sections with sand and it has been dry ever since.... I've kinda been hoping a future storm would scourer out the slot and create more swimming or wading again.

That blows my mind... The biggest downclimb is what, like 10 feet?

I hate to say this but I have almost ZERO enthusiasm for Zion these days..... most of it is the result of the current permit SNAFU. But this other crap doesn't help much.
The best thing about Zion is I get to see Tanya.
