Home Improvement
Inbetween working full time, and being a full time administrator to this site Accadacca had a little time to slip away and help me out with a little concrete project in my yard. Much thanks to him, his dad, and the two finishers that showed up to make it all possible. It looks great!

Looks nice!
I have heard that concrete is pretty spendy right now do to a shortage. If you don't mind my asking what was the price per yard just for the concrete? I have a mud pit that I don't want to deal with next winter again.

Nice job!
I'm in over my head, so to speak, when it comes to concrete. I'd like to try a couple small projects this year, we'll see.....
Here's how my basement turned out. 700 sqft of finish, netted two bedrooms with walk ins and a laundry room.
I ain't very good at indoor pictures, but here goes:

Concrete is a little pricey right now, but hey, at least its available. I had to wait 6 months just for concrete to become available.
I had to pay a little extra because of it being a Saturday pour, but without the extra charge it came out to be roughly $95 a yard. All total it was close to 8 yards.
Hey dude, your basement looks awesome! I like how the computer in your photo was logged into uutah...It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

Nice job on the driveway!!
Here's a few projects we've done so far. One living room, 2 bedrooms and a hallway. WHo the *#*$@$ wallpapers a ceiling - 7 times?!
Kitchen is next - maybe in 2 years. I'm a anti-debt girl so it will take a while to gather the funds.

Serious though, you could probably find some wood paneling today that would look bitchin'. (remember that word?)

My wife i mean i pressured myself into tearing out the old deck and putting in a new bigger one, composite this time.
It's a little lower to the ground than average but I'm going to put bench seats around the edges rather than hand rails.

WOW talk about a blast from the past! That little blonde-haired kid in my photos has already graduated from high school, and that time seems like a dream. I still drive past that house sometimes since my parents live not far from there.
@Sombeech - I'd love to see the rock in your retaining wall, but the image isn't showing up.It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.
