Great Basin - Wheeler Peak
Hey everybody. My name's Jason and I'm a newbie here. I was wondering if any of you have by chance hiked in Great Basin, and of those who have, who made it to the top of Wheeler Peak? "Normally" how long till enough snow is melted off for most people to make it without cramp-ons? Or are they always required pretty much?

Personally I've always wanted to get out that way, but haven't yet. Sorry...
How high is Wheeler Peak? It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.
