Rope Protector
Last year, during the last rappel in Lower refrigerator, my rope got severely damaged (S..C..A..R..Y ).
Granted this abrasion was mid rappel, and a rope protector wouldn't have helped much in that specific situation, but I'm looking into getting one as added protection in case that situation arises.
- Any opinions on rope protector?
- I'm looking into getting the WILDKEN Rope Protector (link below)...any opinion/advice?
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...IF92NVTH&psc=1
BTW...I believe the main reason for the abrasion was a poor rappelling style by one of the team members (doesn't help that he's ~220lb)
Cheers
