So, what is going to be the social acceptable way to recognize and celebrate this new holiday? As a white man, am I allowed to celebrate how I want, or will that be recognized as cultural appropriation, and I will be shunned and condemned for celebrating a holiday that only black people can appreciate and therefore celebrate? If I don’t recognize or celebrate it, does that just sore my racism and bigotry? Just really unsure how the woke crowd is going to react and how I’m supposed to respond and recognize this new adventure.

Not that i I really care. I’m just looking forward to the mixed reactions and contradictions and inter fighting among the whole cried on what is she isn’t socially acceptable for this new holiday. Sounds blacks be the only ones that get a paid day off as a first step toward registrations? Should white people have to work that day with no pay, and give their pay to a black person?

The politicians are really good at throwing bones. They say it's about "awareness"...but in reality they'd like the stain of racism to last for eternity...regardless of the psychological damage it does to people. Racial issues are what will eventually lead to the demise of this country. Do you think any other country frets over race issues as much as the USA? This is the reason why China will be the most powerful global superpower in a decade - because while we're concerned about race issues and civil rights, China is concerned about building up their military and economic prowess.

I tend to agree...empires rise and fall. While it may seem that the mighty United States would be immune to such a thing...largely because of our "freedom"...I would propose that America, as it was and as it is dreamed, is dead.

Trump pulled to cover off of what damn near everyone knew was there all along...and boy is it ugly. While I'd be normally the last to say "Resistance is futile", it sure is going to be tough considering the power they have...the media, nearly in its entirety, the influence of social media and even our military. They surrounded Washington DC with the Army and barbed wire to appoint the new President...I'd say they also conducted a purge at the same time. Add to that the sheer complacency of everyone...

The Roman elite drove what they had straight into the ground with pure gluttony...and I reckon the same will happen to us eventually...perhaps sooner rather than later.

It all boils down to the Oligarchs...who's gonna end up on top? While it's been Americans and Europeans for centuries...I don't think they can suck enough dick to save themselves now. Those "minor empires" that had to make due with being "down the line" are moving up quick...so does the old guard fight them off or figure how to live in tandem?...I reckon they've capitulated, hence the raping of the US Treasury...setting themselves up regardless of the new boss in town.

In geopolitics or the "realpolitik" as it's been know...big moves are constantly being made. But I think REALLY big moves have been occurring lately, as sea change for humanity. Similar to the aftermath of world wars.

A couple of prominent conservative voices- Michael Knowles and Charlie Kirk predicted this last week, that the push from the left will be to erase Independence Day. Look how corporations will respond and promote products and coverage of 6/19 over 7/4 in the coming years.
