Video: thermal hog hunting kill shot highlights pulsar trail XQ38

Hey guys, it’s been a while. Hunting took a backseat the past year or two, and making videos and being an active member on the forums came to a complete halt. But hopefully, moving forward I’ll be back at it, and y’all will be seein more of me on here. Anyways, i finally got around to makin this video. It’s a bunch of kill shots from the view of my Pulsar Trail XQ38. Happy New Years! https://youtu.be/7JBYS1ecUis

I agree, these guys are good shooters...I wouldn't want them coming after my ass. I wouldn't have shot the fox, though...that's kinda jacked. If I were shooting with them, I would have objected fiercely to killing that animal.

Thanks y’all. Foxes usually get shot on site out there, because a lot of people nearby own chickens.

Um no.. Killing everything in sight for sport and then giggling about it like little bitches isn't my thing. I've seen enough death for one lifetime that I have no further desire to blast every creature within range. I now hunt only for those things that we'll eat. Until you've had your prey shooting back at you, you'll never understand..

    Thank you for your service.

We kill what the landowners want us to kill. Too many reasons to type out why they have us out there. If you don’t like the videos, simply move on.

    Hey, blakester

I've watched many of these hog hunts at night with various brands thermal scopes.

I don't know if it's just the video software or thats the actual image but it always appears to me when you acquire a target, the crosshair/dot is low on the animal.

Is that the way it appears real time through your scope?

Hey good observation. I’ve noticed the same thing in other videos as well. I couldn’t tell ya how or why it does that. My scopes are zeroed only 1.5” high at 100 yards and that definitely not enough to be noticeable on video.

I can see how killing the fox is cruel too, but coming from a farming family i see the necessity of population control. I did wince at the fox shooting but I remember the need. There are still a lot of them out there.
