buying a YFZ450
Ok, I'm looking at purchasing my first quad. I want something that has reliable power, and I can use for off-roading. I saw a clean looking '12 YFZ450. It has new wheels and atv tires, and no major problems. The asking price is $5.5K. What are your thoughts? Other suggestions are welcome also.

That'd be good for the dunes, but that's about it. What kind of offroading are you looking at doing?

Have you already purchased a quad? I recently purchased a 2008 YFZ 450. Just started modifying it. My first mod is a set of Kenda Speed Racer tires that I ordered from 4wheelonline.
