Thread: Do you wear a mask?

  1. #261
That's too bad, hopefully they serve some jail time and he makes a full recovery. These are the kind of thugs that need their pictures posted publicly.

I'll say this though, if I were in a frail state, thinking it was a risk to my health to go to the store, that if somebody weren't wearing a mask it could lead to my death, I'd probably stay home and ask my wife to go to the store for me.

^^^As a side note... I thought you didn't have to wear a mask if you are outside and not in close proximity to other people?

I keep seeing people walking down the street, alone, with masks on. What's up with that? Do they honestly think Covid is around us everywhere now, or is it just virtue signaling?
It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

Some people get sad when they hear you don't die of COVID in your 30s and 40s. Like really bummed out.

I walk the dog around the hood and Sugarhouse park every day without a mask. I keep one handy in case we get into a pack of dog tussling/playing and have to get close to other owners while we separate them. I put it on then, just cause we usually aren't 6 feet at that point. Other than that, I'm never anywhere near other people, at least 10 feet or more so I don't wear it in these cases. Inside any enclosed building with people in it, yep. Driving in my car, walking or hiking in open space, nope (unless my dog wants to romp around with another dog).

Plus they were eating. Illogical to wear a mask. My state specifically exempts mask wearing while eating, for example.

That couple deserved a beatdown. The moment the coffee flew, it was an assault.

Kinda like when someone says "I've heard a lot of people saying it...." without providing any facts. That's really hard to believe without specific facts.

I've been wondering the same thing, as it seems to be ramping up a bit lately. I've seen more people driving with them on, walking their dogs with no one around, yesterday I saw a guy JOGGING with a mask on!

I can't believe they actually think Mother Nature (the wind) is out to get them...or maybe they do? Virtue signaling? Why would they do that when no one is around to show off to?

Back in '92 when the Rodney King riots were happening, I went to the grocery store and the streets were deserted as everyone was at home watching the mayhem on TV. There were dozens of strange people walking around...heads on a swivel, just waiting for someone to toss a rock thru a window and get the show going. I thought "Where the hell did these people come from?" I lived in a calm neighborhood and had never noticed them before.

They are there all the time. They're weirdos. We're getting a look at a lot of weirdos. Some of them (clearly) have simmering anger issues. And they insist that WE are the bad guys...we just want to be left the hell alone. Life is hard...some people can barely hang.
The end of the world for some...

The last few days, the mask debating has even topped the local MTB FB pages, with several posts of people arguing if one should wear a mask while riding. Cuz, you know, you violate social distancing when you pass someone. Crazy locos.

If you want to wear a mask, wear one. If you don’t, don’t. If someone else not wearing one makes you uncomfortable, just remember the favorite saying a couple months ago: Stay home, stay safe.

Them: ‘Wear a mask to save others lives’.

Me: Can I wear a neck gator or bandana? will that meet your face diaper requirements?

Them: ‘Yes, every little bit helps. Listen to the science’

Science: Neck gators and scarves may be worse than nothing at all.

    Do you wear a mask?

Where’s the actual data that shows that masks and lockdowns have any impact... at all?
