Given the tearing down of the Pike statue in DC tonight, across the street from the police station, why not topple Jefferson? Hell, why not burn down George Washington's home Mt Vernon? Why not topple the Washington Monument?
There is no one stopping them.

Black on black.... 100 people shot and 14 killed in Chicago shootings over the weekend.
Where is the outrage?

^^^ If you can put up with his obnoxious behavior, Steven Crowder makes a lot of great points and is pretty entertaining.

Seattle Mayor decides CHAZ/CHOP isn't a great idea... guess who gets to clean up her frickin' mess? Yup, you guessed it, the police...
Seattle will move to dismantle 'CHOP' zone after shootings, mayor says

This actually may turn out to be quite entertaining...Jimmy Kimmel may be next to bite the dust. He's hiding right now hoping everyone forgets about him.

The Land O' Lakes Indian chick went bye-bye, too.
Yeah...the eskimo pie thing, huh? I can't imagine that anyone truly cares about that other than the execs trying to head it off at the pass. I think that's what a lot of this is.
I don't think it's shame so much as fear of being attacked...especially online. Minding your own business, and the next thing you know you're being called racist.
Chaos, intimidation and violence. Although they're picking off easy targets...corporate images and statues and liberal downtown areas, they certainly are a threat.
Interesting to see how this all lands. In the past, these things kinda just blended into the background, but this is a big one. Lots of tore up people out there.
In the end, I think it'll get pushed off to the sidelines once the media opens up the next can of bullshit. The end of the world for some...

He allegedly said "nig ger" back in 1996.
I don't understand this mentality of dredging up people's history from 20+ years ago. 20 years is a looong time and people can change quite a bit in that time.
How far back are we gonna go with this? 30 years? 50 years? F'ing ridiculous.Last edited by rockgremlin; 06-22-2020 at 08:16 PM.

Can the current BLM narrative get any more ridiculous?
Yep, it sure can. Apparently the "Civil War" reference to refer to the rivalry game between Oregon and Oregon State has been nixed because "... it glorifies a war to promote slavery."
Really? That was the thought of every football fan in Oregon every time the term "Civil War" was used?
Unfukn-believeable.
5 bucks says the students will continue to say Civil War regardless.
