Bingo! Unfortunately, when we elect these people we give them the power to "interpret" what our Constitutional Rights actually are.

We want it black and white, but legislators are placed right smack in the middle of the grey area. They decide what's trash and what's treasure.

I like to give them the middle finger and do my own thing, wether they like it or not. Something that is a concern though, is roadblocks. They have those down in the Navajo Nation...I read that the locals are laughing at the Tribal Police because they don't have the proper manpower. Folks are driving dirt roads around them.

Roadblocks man...that's the kick in the head right there. Any state that puts up those then the people living there are really in trouble. The ultimate infringement of our rights, IMO.

One more time for those who ride the short bus... The Idaho woman did this and got exactly the results she want so she could prove it was unconstitutional to restrict her rights to peacefully assemble.

    Agreed 100%.

The thing with any legal document is that they can always be interpreted in a variety of ways -- and in many cases they're interpreted differently than the author's original intent.
It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

30 million unemployed Americans because the government decided their jobs were unessential. And socialists point to this and say that capitalism doesn’t work, and we need a revolutionary change. SMH

    https://reason.com/2020/04/28/child-services-kentucky-social-distancing-covid-19-family-parents/

It was early in March, COVID-19 fears were on the rise, and two Kentucky parents who were new to the state needed to open up a bank account. Seeing no other option, they took their seven kids to the bank with them.By the time they had returned home from their errand, a child protective services caseworker and a law enforcement officer were waiting at the door to investigate them for child abuse.

Back at home, the authorities confronted Bill and Kristy, who discovered that someone had called in an anonymous tip claiming that a mother of five had taken her children out with a man who wasn't their dad, and they had bruises on their arms that indicated rough grabbing.”

I remember the first time I saw this movie, I thought "Man, Gibson sure has some balls".

He sure made the English look bad...but then he boinked and impregnated the Queen on top of it all. Y'now who plays this on TV most frequently? The BBC channel. I always thought that was kind of curious.

Happy Mother’s Day. Show your mom how much you love her by taking her out for waffles? Not in Californistan- you may get arrested for that horrific act.

For the most part, as these tyrannical arrests have happened, the civilians have gone along pretty willingly with the arrests- no resisting, extremely minimal use of force by LEOs needed to arrest them- at least the ones I’ve seen.

As more of these tyrannical arrests occur, the more people are going to get sick of them, and become less compliant. What is going to happen when a LEO fires to arrest someone, and they resist? What is going to happen if a bystander steps in to obstruct the arrest? How far are LEOs willing to go, hoe far are law makers willing to push the LEOs to go, to enforce these house arrest laws?

is it just coincidence that the places with the most strict lockdown measures are also the ones with the most strict gun control laws? Hmmmm. Interesting.

They level of mental gymnastics it takes for government idiots to put together something like this and totally support it and think it is logical, reasonable, and effective is just mind blowing.

Ha ha, funny, I first saw BraveHeart when I was living in England, I wasn't sure how my fellow movie goers were feeling at the time either, but they all seemed to like it. I guess the idea of living under a tyrant wasn't new to them. We are a young country but they've been dealing with this stuff for many centuries.

We feel bad now when we learn about slavery and Hiroshima, but only because now there are much better ways. But the English have seen it come and go so many times, they know all about the centuries of conquests in the past millennia
