^^^As well they should.... this self quarantine was originally meant to last 2 weeks to flatten the curve so hospitals would not be inundated... it was never meant to last 2 months or destroy business, families and lives.
It's time for American's to say that's enough and get back to work.

I can't find the post on Facebook but in one of the medical groups I follow someone asked what the status was of everyone's hospitals. There were over 300 replies but pretty much everyone was reporting hours being cut. People using PTO to keep a paycheck. Salaries being cut and very few COVID patients.
If I come across it again I will post it.
I will say we had one that had been hospitalized for 4+ weeks. I don't know when that person came in but we get daily updates and that has been going on for 4 weeks. Touch and go for a bit. Thankfully they have gone home. Had a few other cases. But nothing significant or overwhelming. I would say about the same as what I was reading on that post.

Virginia pastor who defiantly held church service dies of coronavirus
An evangelical pastor died of COVID-19 just weeks after proudly showing off how packed his Virginia church was — and vowing to keep preaching “unless I’m in jail or the hospital.”
“I firmly believe that God is larger than this dreaded virus. You can quote me on that,” he said, repeating it a second time to claps, saying that “people are healed” in his church.

We need an immediate cut off of any business with china until this is over.
Then bring all our supporting business' back.
A little scary knowing what they own here.
All a coincidence, I'm sure.
Food supply worries grow after outbreak closes Smithfield meat plant
Pork processor Smithfield Foods' decision to shut down a major U.S. plant after a coronavirus outbreak among workers is putting a spotlight on the food supply chain during the pandemic.
Consumer and worker safety groups say the Smithfield incident highlights that more must be done to ensure the welfare of those working in the industry as well as those buying food. And there are worries that if more plants close, American consumers could be hit by shortages.

Smithfield Foods, Inc., is a meat-processing company based in Smithfield, Virginia, in the United States, and a wholly owned subsidiary of WH Group of China.[a] Founded in 1936 as the Smithfield Packing Company by Joseph W. Luter and his son, the company is the largest pig and pork producer in the world.[5] In addition to owning over 500 farms in the US, Smithfield contracts with another 2,000 independent farms around the country to grow Smithfield's pigs.[6] Outside the US, the company has facilities in Mexico, Poland, Romania, Germany, and the United Kingdom.[7] Globally the company employed 50,200 in 2016 and reported an annual revenue of $14 billion.[3] Its 973,000-square-foot meat-processing plant in Tar Heel, North Carolina, was said in 2000 to be the world's largest, processing 32,000 pigs a day.[8]

Sadly, likely one of the biggest catalysts that will push many of the jurisdictions that are thriving on this totalitarianism under this shutdown will be these overseers eventually realizing that their revunue streams for their mega government and social programs have all dried up because they’ve shut down their economy, and the only way to fund them is to open business back up.
