While I agree with the premise of this meme, the fact that up until a month ago we did have those people as leisure entertainment and extras in our society and life, with many of them making $Ms each year - is a testament to the productivity and efficiency of our economy, that no other country can come close to matching. While they aren't a necesitty for everyday life, they are a good high water mark for how well our economy is/was functioning.

And the SJWs of the world cry that our economic system is broken and needs a revolution to restructure it.

Houston Methodist first in the nation to try coronavirus blood transfusion therapy

Plasma from someone who has recovered from COVID-19 contains antibodies made by the immune system to attack the virus. The hope is that transfusing such plasma into a patient still fighting the virus may transfer the power of the antibodies into a healing, possibly life-saving therapy.

Recently, President Trump has suggested these treatments have “a real chance to be one of the biggest game-changers in the history of medicine.”
HHS said in a statement, “The agency allowed for the drugs to be donated to the Strategic National Stockpile to be distributed and prescribed by doctors to hospitalized teen and adult patients with COVID-19, as appropriate, when a clinical trial is not available or feasible.”
Sandoz has donated 30 million doses of hydroxychloroquine to the stockpile and Bayer donated 1 million doses of chloroquine.

The nearly 100 member symphony will no longer receive paychecks after April 3, an email obtained by the Washington Free Beacon said.
"The Covid-19 Advisory Committee was broadsided today during our conversation with [Kennedy Center president] Deborah Rutter," the email said. "Ms. Rutter abruptly informed us today that the last paycheck for all musicians and librarians will be April 3 and that we will not be paid again until the Center reopens."
"Everyone should proceed as if their last paycheck will be April 3," the email continued. "We understand this will come [as a] shock to all of you, as it did to us."
