Zion NP rebuked everyone on Saturday for not adhearing the CDC’s social distancing guideline:

“The health and safety of our visitors, employees, volunteers, and partners at Zion is our number one priority. The CDC guidance for the COVID-19 pandemic includes social distancing. We are concerned that Saturday’s visitation patterns were not following the CDC recommendations.

If you are coming to the Park, please choose to visit areas that are not crowded to allow for adequate social distancing. This would include NOT hiking at Angels Landing, Riverside Walk, Upper Emerald Pools and other high-use trails. The Zion Canyon Scenic Drive became so congested on Saturday that the park had to close the road.

Use this opportunity to explore different areas of the Park. Visit our website to plan hikes to lesser known areas. If you encounter a crowded trailhead, go elsewhere. Many trailheads have panels with hike directions and maps. Snap a photo of it so you have it with you.”

As of right now in Utah we have no recovered cases according to Coronavirus COVID-19 Global Cases by Johns Hopkins

We only have 176 recovered in the US out of 26,747

And it would be nice if they gave us a little good news.

We will be getting the new Gene Expert cartridges and our analyzer does 16 at a time with 16 in que. I assumed because we had the behemoth it did 80. And we can only do the testing IF we can get the cartridges. Every hospital in the country that has this platform will be ordering them.

Anyway I am still glued to my TV and completely fascinated by this mess.

^ I'm all for women removing their bras to save their lives. We need more pandemics like this. Except, let's get some, well, better models to show us how it's done next time?
