If not already, Arches and Canyonlands will close soon, cuz Moab is closed.

A co-worker stayed overnight in Arches last week. Said he's never seen it so dead - ever. It was great. He had entire sections of the park to himself. If you're gonna plan a trip to visit the national parks now is the time. You'll likely never see it this unpopulated ever again.
It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

^ That's really tempting. I'm spending 6.30 to 2 on my computer managing stock trades, and 3 to 8 working on a rental unit. Would be highly irresponsible to go now, but mmm so good.

I usually don't put much stock into conspiracy theories, but I sure don't trust those Chinese or anything they say for that matter.
Today I got to thinking about a scene from the movie "Signs"...the army recruiter, offering his opinion of the alien ships up in the sky and reports of a few of them stalking around. He said it was a "probe", and "evaluation"...reconnaissance for the main invasion.
I wouldn't be surprised if this is a biological weapon that they unleashed...just to gauge our reaction...and it had the desired effect, total mayhem. They're letting us know not to screw with them...I reckon Hong Kong pissed them off real good.
I've heard a few opinions similar to this, but they're always shot down with "Why would they unleash it on their own people"...like they wouldn't do that.
But oh, yes...they would. They don't give a crap about their people, this is about a means to an end. Unload it in a containable area within their own country before spreading it elsewhere, otherwise it would likely be seen as a direct attack.
Anybody else thinking along these lines or am I totally out in left field?Suddenly my feet are feet of mud
It all goes slo-mo
I don't know why I am crying
Am I suspended in Gaffa?

I believe many are thinking along those lines.
China's population explosion was un sustainable.
But It reveals the soft underbelly of America.

Barr vows ‘severe’ action if foreign government is culprit behind disinformation campaign
Attorney General William P. Barr told the Associated Press on Tuesday that there would be swift and “severe” action if a foreign government was behind a disinformation campaign undertaken Sunday to cause fear in the United States over the coronavirus pandemic.
He also vowed punishment if a foreign government was responsible for a Sunday denial-of-service attempt on the computer networks of the Department of Health and Human Services.
He told the AP that the FBI was “very active, trying to determine” who was responsible for the cyber incident and the fake text messages spreading disinformation that President Trump was soon to impose a mandatory two-week national quarantine.
On Monday, Trump said there could be “some foreign groups that are playing games” with disinformation. But he said it “didn’t matter” because he had not decided to order a mandatory lockdown. “Hopefully we won’t have to,” he said.
Barr did not speculate which government might be behind either incident.
“When you’re dealing with something like a denial of service attack on HHS during a pandemic, that’s a very grave action for another country to take,” Barr told the AP. “So, if it is another country doing this, I’m sure the ramifications will be severe.”
