I had to drive through downtown SLC this afternoon and was dismayed but not necessarily surprised to see the outright idiocy on display. I counted THREE folks jogging down the street with a mask over their face.

Imagine being so gripped with fear about an illness that is less deadly than the common flu that you will complete your cardio workout with a surgical mask over your face. These people are either virtue signaling the hell out of it or they're completely brain dead.

Maybe both.

And to think, if only they were protesting, they wouldn't need to worry.

I read some politico article when he first went in. It was exactly that. "An obese 74 year old with comorbidities isn't likely to fare well." Blah blah blah.

I haven't been following medical news on the virus. Not in Trump, but in general.

Is it usually, or even always, the case that if someone gets by in the first 48, 72, 96 hours without respiratory distress that it's all clear? Or do some people fall later than that?
