I think food production is the big risk. Wait till someone at a meat packing plant, or food distribution center gets tested positive. Then production will shut down. If schools close, many parents don’t have alternative, especially young kids, parents will be taking off work. Add to that the mass hysteria about getting this thing, and more people won’t be going to work. Production of goods could come to a standstill.

OK, well then just do the vampire thing tonight and stock up. I'll load up the shelves in my place early Sat. morn...Lucky for me, I'm a bachelor that lives alone so only two or three hundred bucks will load me up for a solid month or more.

Good point about the meat packing plant...but most of these other goods are packaged with machines. I'm not scared.

The only thing "different" I'm doing is I have a small spray bottle of homemade alcohol solution in my truck with some rags to dry off my hands...blast 'em after getting gas, going into a store, etc...that's it. I might not eat out as much for a while.

EDIT: This might be a "Mormon Thing" too...I recall painting the interior of a house back in the mid 80s. A Mormon family...they had one bedroom stocked to the ceiling with food, water, guns and ammo. He had an Uzi machine gun! They said it was in case of a big earthquake, but my boss told me that Mormons stock up like that as a hedge against lean times...has something to do with the religion.

Word is CO Gov will announce statewide suspension of schools tonight or tomorrow. This from an admin employee friend in a private school that will follow suit.

We'll see. But it's just a matter of time now.
