From a legal standpoint, are any of those actions listed considered domestic abuse, and punishable by law? Yes, picture dies add more to it with the implication of domestic abuse, but???

Put another way, is there anything there that can be legally classified as physical abuse? Enforcement on the spouse and how they make their spouse do those things may be in question.

But, seems to me like you requesting that to domestic abuse, all of that being the opposite end of the spectrum from freedom, don’t that support the memes stance and point of view and perspective, than what you’re saying?

"Forced" is but one of the operative words in this ridiculous photo and caption.

Imagine there is a police incident, an active shooter, and you were "forced" to stay behind the police tape. Your friends and family and office were inside the area taped off. You were told not to leave the area and go inside the danger zone. If you see the shooter, they tell you to duck and cover. Imagine the police threatened that if you crossed the police line they would arrest you for interfering with an arrest and failing to obey a police order. Would you call this abusive???? Come on. These extreme examples are too much. Not all government action is bad. All domestic violence and abuse, IS bad.

I agree with Scott on this. Comparing wearing a mask to domestic abuse is ludicrous. You are not mentally scared by having to put a mask on and if you are...well you are mental to begin with.

Baa Baa... if you want to follow all the other sheep go for it. I won't interfere...

...but please extend me the same courtesy to run my own life as I see for. It get that Covid is serious, it's just not serious enough to me to give up my lifestyle or live my life in fear.

It is always funny to me that when one group doesn't want to follow what another group is suggesting, the "followers" are sheep, implying stupidity. It seems we are all sheep of sorts. What seems more stupid than a sheep following a shepherd is a sheep snuggling up with the wolves. I choose my shepherds very very carefully. I am not one for wolves in sheep's clothing nor am I fond of stupid shepherds.

To defeat Covid and save our economy and our desired lifestyle some lives will have to be sacrificed... I know that little fact is hard for many to understand or except, but in the end that is what is going to have to happen. We can't save everyone and while all lives matter, all lives are not of equal value.

Yes, I have had to tell my clients about their economic value. For example I had to tell my highly educated former dentist client that his claim to 1 million dollars for an injury that happened during a hearing aid exam was excessive because to a jury, he was not worth a million dollars in economic terms let alone the value of his injury was that that great.

Economic value is part of the equation, but also is value to humanity and contributions to society.... apples to apples... a dentist is worth more to mankind then a homeless drug addict.
