The plane being shot down was the result of pure incompetence on the part of the Iranian's. I mean seriously... who leave's their airport and airspace open to civilian traffic during the middle of a major missile attack?

There are actually numerous videos of the missile taking out the Ukrainian plane. Many of the videos I have seen appear to have been shot from automobile dash cameras that just happen to catch the explosion.

Yeah... This entire ordeal is not going that great for Iran. They should have just sucked it up and accepted the loss of their terrorist general.

First they shot down a plane loaded with Iranians, then they tramp a bunch of people to death at the terrorist generals funeral, and as a reward they get more economic sanctions levied on them. As I stated earlier... a complete lack of competence by the Iranians.

With actions like this, no need to ground invade Iran. That regime will go down in time, if they aren't propped up with Obama's nuke deal. Whether US, Israeli, or Saudi intelligence helped with this. Just a matter of time before the connected, more sophisticated young population of Iran, compared to the utterly backwards and less Westernized pops in "Palestine" and Yemen and other hellholes, starts Green Revolution 2.

Trump's immediate tweets of support for the small anti-govt protests the other night signalled clearly a different US response next time.

With that said I don't feel bad for Tehran in regards to either incident... if they want to continue to play stupid games they can continue to expect to win stupid prizes.

I'd be surprised if you found many Americans outside the fringe radical left or #FAKENEWS that feels sorry for Tehran, the victims yes, but not Tehran. Everyone I know thinks Iran reaped what they sowed in both instances. YMMV
