    Happy Thanksgiving -- or not...

I agree that what our Pilgrim forefathers did was barbaric, but let's be honest: Isn't EVERYONE'S quality of life better today as a result -- including the Native Americans?

It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

Nope... we decimated the Native American's. The latest research is showing that we killed off 90% of the Native American population through disease before we even knew most of them existed. It's now believed disease brought from the new world sweep over the continent well in front of whitey's roaming west.

Before Whitey the Native American male got to sit around, fish and hunt all day and the women did all the work.... Are you sure we really improved on that? LOL...

There is a great National Geographic program on America Before Columbus.

A common assumption is that horses died out after the Ice Age, and were only reintroduced when a few escaped the Spaniards in 1500s. The Spaniards held their horses in very high value, as much or greater than the boats themselves, and took very careful and precise records of them. The theory that a few horses escaped and thus came the mass population of horses throughout the Americas is a weakening theory. There are increasing sculptures, drawings and even some fossil records that are beginning to confirm the existence of horses in pre-Columbus America, and post Ice Age.
