Hike out High Spur?
Reading Kelsey's guide, he mentions there is a hiking exit right before the mandatory rappels. An exit after the small drop, usually with webbing around a small tree. True? I have done high spur before but can't remember seeing an exit. What's it like? Straightforward? Thanks

High Spur offers several escapes out the north side. The canyon can also be reversed by competent canyoneers provide you don't drop the mandatory rappels near the finish.
One word of warning is High Spur has the ability to hold a lot of water and I have no clue how difficult the canyon would be to reverse in high water.
