We should not be involved in Venezuela. We definitely shouldn't be allowing PMC's to get involved. I've personally been involved in far too many military affairs that I thought the US should not have been involved in. The people of Venezuela need to figure this out themselves. We seriously shouldn't be in the middle between a dictator (communist) and a socialist. There's no WIN for the country, nor the US. The people voted, they got what they got..This is NOT akin to Nazi Germany, so..

We're not going to get too involved...I'd say the order was "Don't start mowing people down with bullets or we're going to kick some ass".

If Trump wanted to really rattle his sword we'd have an aircraft carrier real close by...maybe we do?

The problem is if Maduro remains in power all the bad actors are in Venezuela. Russia’s there, China’s there, Iran’s there, Cuba's there, Hezbollah’s there.... It's going to be ugly and impact all the countries in that region.

I'm not sure what the answer is, our track record of invading countries and setting up a Democratic Republic is atrocious... just look at what a fine job we did in Iraq and Afghanistan.

As I've said before... the biggest problem with Socialism is you can vote your way in but you have to shoot your way out.
